PEGAS: Trading Results in July
Belgian ZTP Spot and Futures launched successfully
Leipzig, Paris, 4 August 2014 – PEGAS, the natural gas platform jointly established by
the European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Powernext, announced that a total volume
of 45.8 TWh was traded in July 2014 compared with 14.8 TWh traded in the same
period of the previous year.
Spot Markets
Overall trading volumes on the Spot Markets amounted to 20.5 TWh in July, which
constituted more than twice the volume traded in July 2013 (9.8 TWh). The German
spot markets (market areas GASPOOL and NCG) recorded a volume of 7.2 TWh (July
2013: 2.7 TWh), whereby, 1.1 TWh has been traded in quality-specific gas products.
The French spot markets (market areas PEG Nord, PEG Sud, PEG TIGF) registered a
total of 7.3 TWh (July 2013: 6.2 TWh). The volume traded on the Dutch TTF spot
market amounted to 5.9 TWh traded in July (July 2013: 1.0 TWh). The Belgian ZTP
spot market, launched on 9 July 2014, recorded 88,104 MWh for its first month of
trading.
Derivatives Markets
In July, trading volumes on the PEGAS Derivatives Markets increased to 25.3 TWh.
This is more than 5-times the volume traded in the same period in 2013 (5.0 TWh). The
volume on the German Futures markets (GASPOOL and NCG market areas) reached
6.6 TWh (July 2013: 1.9 TWh). In the French market areas, a total of 3.7 TWh was
traded on PEG Nord and PEG Sud Futures (July 2013: 2.3 TWh). The Dutch TTF
Futures market registered a total volume of 15.0 TWh traded in July (July 2013:
0.7 TWh). Furthermore, a volume of 7,440 MWh was registered in the new ZTP Futures
market.

PEGAS: Handelsergebnisse im Juli
Handel mit belgischen ZTP Spot- und Futures gestartet
Leipzig, Paris, 4. August 2014 – Im Juli 2014 wurde auf PEGAS, der gemeinsamen
Gashandelsplattform der European Energy Exchange (EEX) und der Powernext, ein
Volumen von insgesamt 45,8 TWh gehandelt verglichen mit 14,8 TWh im Vorjahreszeitraum.
Spotmärkte
An den Gas-Spotmärkten wurde im Juli mit insgesamt 20,5 TWh mehr als das Doppelte
des Vorjahresmonats gehandelt (Juli 2013: 9,8 TWh). In den deutschen Marktgebieten
GASPOOL und NCG stieg das Volumen auf 7,2 TWh (Juli 2013: 2,7 TWh). Davon
stammten 1,1 TWh aus dem Handel mit qualitätsspezifischen Gasprodukten. In den
französischen Marktgebieten PEG Nord, PEG Süd und PEG TIGF belief sich das
Volumen im Juli auf 7,3 TWh (Juli 2013: 6,2 TWh). Das Volumen am niederländischen
TTF-Spotmarkt belief sich auf 5,9 TWh (Juli 2013: 1,0 TWh). Am belgischen ZTPSpotmarkt, der am 9. Juli 2014 startete, wurde im ersten Monat ein Volumen von
88.104 MWh gehandelt.
Terminmärkte
Die Volumen an den Gas-Terminmärkten von PEGAS beliefen sich im Juli auf
25,3 TWh. Das entspricht mehr als dem Fünffachen des Vorjahreswertes (Juli 2013:
5,0 TWh). In den deutschen Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG betrug das Volumen
6,6 TWh (Juli 2013: 1,9 TWh). In den französischen Marktgebieten PEG Nord und PEG
Süd wurden im Juli insgesamt 3,7 TWh gehandelt (Juli 2013: 2,3 TWh). Das Volumen
am niederländischen TTF-Terminmarkt stieg auf 15,0 TWh (Juli 2013: 0,7 TWh). Am
neugestarteten ZTP-Terminmarkt wurde ein Volumen von 7.440 MWh registriert.

PEGAS: Volumes négociés en juillet 2014
Lancement réussi du marché belge ZTP spot et futures
Leipzig, Paris, le 4 août 2014 – 45,8 TWh ont été négociés en juillet 2014 sur PEGAS,
la plateforme de gaz naturel créée conjointement par EEX (European Energy Echange)
et Powernext (juillet 2013 : 14,8 TWh).
Marchés spot
Les volumes totaux négociés sur les marchés spot ont atteint 20,5 TWh en juillet, ce qui
représente plus du double du volume négocié en juillet 2013 (9,8 TWh). Le marché spot
allemand a enregistré un volume total de 7,2 TWh sur les zones de marché GASPOOL
et NCG (juillet 2013 : 2,7 TWh). Ce volume comprend 1,1 TWh négociés en produits
gaz haute et basse qualité. Le marché spot français a enregistré un total de 7,3 TWh
sur les zones de marché PEG Nord, PEG Sud et PEG TIGF (juillet 2013 : 6,2 TWh). Le
volume traité sur le marché néerlandais TTF spot s’élève à 5,9 TWh en juillet (juillet
2013: 1,0 TWh). Le marché ZTP spot lancé le 9 juillet a enregistré 88 104 MWh pour
son premier mois sur PEGAS.
Marchés dérivés
En juillet, les volumes négociés sur les marchés dérivés de PEGAS se sont élevés à
25,3 TWh, ce qui représente plus de cinq fois le volume négocié en juillet 2013 (5,0
TWh). Les volumes traités sur le marché dérivé allemand (zones de livraison
GASPOOL et NCG) ont atteint 6,6 TWh (juillet 2013 : 1,9 TWh). Sur les zones de
marché françaises, 3,7 TWh ont été négociés au total sur les Futures PEG Nord et PEG
Sud (juillet 2013 : 2,3 TWh). Le marché TTF Futures néerlandais a enregistré un
volume total de 15,0 TWh en juillet (juillet 2013 : 0,7 TWh). De plus, 7 440 MWh ont été
négociés sur le nouveau marché ZTP Futures.
