PEGAS trading results of July 2015
Futures market increased by 81 percent
Leipzig / Paris, 5 August 2015. PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform
operated by Powernext, today announced that a total volume of 71.6 TWh was traded
in July 2015. This represents an increase of 57 % compared to the previous year (July
2014: 45.8 TWh).
Spot Markets
Overall spot trading volumes amounted to 26.0 TWh which represents a year on year
increase of 27 %. In July, PEGAS recorded volume increases in all market areas
compared to last year: The German GASPOOL and NCG areas registered a volume of
9.1 TWh in July (+26 %), including 2.2 TWh traded in quality-specific gas products. The
volume in the French PEG Nord and TRS market areas amounted to 9.2 TWh (+27 %).
The Dutch TTF spot volume reached 7.4 TWh (+25 %). The total volume of spread
transactions amounted to 1.9 TWh.
Derivatives Markets
In July, trading volumes on the PEGAS derivatives markets reached 45.7 TWh,
representing an 81 % increase compared to the previous year. The Dutch TTF futures
market contributed 32.5 TWh to the total volume which is twice the volume traded in
July 2014. The German GASPOOL market area reached a monthly volume record of
4.2 TWh (previous record: 2.7 TWh in March 2014). The French PEG Nord and TRS
market areas reached 3.4 TWh. The trading volumes in the recently launched NBP
Futures (UK) and PSV Financial Futures (Italy) segments registered their best month so
far with 581 GWh and 478 GWh respectively. The derivatives volume registered for
clearing via trade registration amounted to 3.2 TWh.

PEGAS Handelsergebnisse für Juli 2015
Volumen am Terminmarkt wächst um
81 Prozent
Leipzig / Paris, 5. August 2015. Im Juli 2015 wurde auf PEGAS, der von Powernext
betriebenen Gashandelsplattform, ein Volumen von insgesamt 71,6 TWh gehandelt.
Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von 57 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat
(Juli 2014: 45,8 TWh).
Spotmärkte
Die Handelsvolumina an den Gas-Spotmärkten beliefen sich im Juli auf insgesamt
26,0 TWh, was einer Steigerung von 27 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat
entspricht. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahr verzeichnete PEGAS in allen Marktgebieten
Steigerungen: In den deutschen Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG wurde ein
Volumen von 9,1 TWh (+26 Prozent) gehandelt, darin enthalten sind 2,2 TWh aus dem
Handel mit qualitätsspezifischen Gasprodukten. Das Volumen in den französischen
Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS belief sich auf 9,2 TWh (+27 Prozent). Am
niederländischen TTF-Spotmarkt betrug das Volumen 7,4 TWh (+25 Prozent). Am
Spotmarkt wurden 1,9 TWh in den Spread-Produkten gehandelt.
Terminmärkte
Die Handelsvolumina an den PEGAS-Terminmärkten stiegen gegenüber dem
Vorjahresmonat um 81 Prozent auf 45,7 TWh. Der niederländische TTF-Terminmarkt
trug 32,5 TWh zu diesem Volumen bei. Im Vergleich zu Juli 2014 hat sich das Volumen
in diesem Markt damit verdoppelt. Im deutschen Marktgebiet GASPOOL wurde im Juli
mit 4,2 TWh ein neuer Monatsrekord erreicht (bisheriger Rekord: 2,7 TWh im März
2014). In den Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS wurden 3,4 TWh gehandelt. Die
kürzlich gestarteten NBP-Futures (Großbritannien) und finanziellen PSV-Futures
(Italien) erreichten die bisher höchsten Volumina seit der Markteinführung mit 581 GWh
bzw. 487 GWh. Das Gesamtvolumen am Terminmarkt enthält 3,2 TWh, die über Trade
Registration zum Clearing registriert wurden.

PEGAS : Volumes négociés en juillet 2015
Le volume des marchés dérivés augmentent
de 81 pourcent
Leipzig / Paris, 5 août 2015. PEGAS, la plateforme de négociation du gaz
paneuropéenne gérée par Powernext annonce qu’un volume total de 71,6 TWh a été
négocié en juillet 2015. Cela représente une augmentation de 57 pourcent par rapport à
juillet 2014 (45,8 TWh).
Marchés spot
Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot a atteint 26,0 TWh, ce qui équivaut à une
augmentation de 27 pourcent comparé à l’année précédente. Tous les marchés de
PEGAS ont enregistré des augmentations de volume par rapport à juillet 2014. Le
volume négocié sur les marchés spot allemands (zones de marché GASPOOL et NCG)
s’est élevé à 9,1 TWh (+26 pourcent), incluant 2,2 TWh négociés en produits gaz haute
et basse qualités. Un volume de 9,2 TWh a été négocié sur les zones de marché spot
françaises PEG Nord et TRS (+27 pourcent). Le volume traité au TTF néerlandais s’est
élevé à 7,4 TWh (+25 pourcent). Le volume total des transactions sur les spreads a
atteint 1,9 TWh.
Marchés dérivés
En juillet, le volume négocié sur les marchés dérivés de PEGAS a atteint 45,7 TWh,
soit une augmentation de 81 pourcent comparé à l‘année précédente. Le marché dérivé
au hub néerlandais TTF a contribué 32,5 TWh du volume total, ce qui représente plus
du double du volume traité en juillet 2014. Le marché dérivé allemand GASPOOL a
enregistré un record de volume mensuel avec 4,2 TWh (record précédent : 2,7 TWh en
mars 2014). Les marchés PEG Nord et TRS français ont atteint 3,4 TWh. Les segments
NBP Futures (UK) et PSV Financial Futures (Italie) lancés récemment ont enregistré
leurs meilleurs volumes mensuels avec 581 GWh et 478 GWh respectivement. Le
volume des transactions OTC compensées a atteint 3,2 TWh.
