PEGAS: Trading Results in May
Trading volumes on the Spot and Derivatives Markets increased significantly
compared to the previous year
Leipzig, Paris, 3 June 2015 – PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform
operated by Powernext, announced that a total volume of 45.7 TWh was traded in May
2015. This represents an increase of 28 percent compared to 35.7 TWh traded in the
previous year.
Spot Markets
Overall trading volumes on the Spot Markets increased by 39 percent to 30.4 TWh in
May compared to 21.8 TWh in May 2014. On the German GASPOOL and NCG Spot
market areas, volumes reached 14.3 TWh which represents an increase of 44 percent
(May 2014: 9.9 TWh). The total volume on the German spot market includes a volume
of 5.4 TWh traded in quality-specific gas products. The French PEG Nord and TRS spot
market areas reported a volume of 7.0 TWh which accounts for an increase of 6 percent
(May 2014: 6.6 TWh). The volume on the Dutch TTF spot market increased by 69
percent to 9.0 TWh (May 2014: 5.3 TWh). The Belgian ZTP spot market registered a
volume of 161,539 MWh. The total volume of spread transactions amounted to
1.4 TWh.
Derivatives Markets
In May, trading volumes on the PEGAS Derivatives Markets reached 15.3 TWh which
represents an increase of 10 percent compared to May 2014 (13,9 TWh). The German
GASPOOL and NCG Futures market areas registered a volume of 2.8 TWh (May 2014:
6.2 TWh). The French PEG Nord and TRS market areas reported a volume of 1.7 TWh
which represents an increase of 32 percent (May 2014: 1.3 TWh). The Dutch TTF
Futures market registered a volume of 10.6 TWh and, therefore, increased by
65 percent compared to May 2014 (6.4 TWh). The financial futures product for the
Italian PSV market area reported a total volume of 115,680 MWh. Transactions
registered for clearing via Trade Registration amounted to 913,440 MWh including
891,360 MWh registered through the new Straight-Through Processing service.

PEGAS: Handelsergebnisse im Mai
Handelsvolumen am Spot- und Terminmarkt im Vergleich zum Vorjahr deutlich
gestiegen
Leipzig, Paris, 3. Juni 2015 – Im Mai 2015 wurde auf PEGAS, der von Powernext
betriebenen Gashandelsplattform, ein Volumen von insgesamt 45,7 TWh gehandelt.
Dies entspricht einem Anstieg von 28 Prozent gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat
(Mai 2014: 35,7 TWh).
Spotmärkte
An den Gas-Spotmärkten stieg das Volumen im Mai um 39 Prozent auf 30,4 TWh
(Mai 2014: 21,8 TWh). In den deutschen Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG belief sich
das Volumen auf 14,3 TWh, was einem Anstieg von 44 Prozent entspricht (Mai 2014:
9,9 TWh). In diesem Volumen sind 5,4 TWh aus dem Handel mit qualitätsspezifischen
Gasprodukten enthalten. In den französischen Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS
wurden im Mai 7,0 TWh gehandelt und damit 6 Prozent mehr als im Vorjahr (Mai 2014:
6,6 TWh). Das Volumen am niederländischen TTF-Spotmarkt stieg um 69 Prozent auf
9,0 TWh (Mai 2014: 5,3 TWh). Am belgischen ZTP-Spotmarkt wurde im Mai ein
Volumen von 161.539 MWh umgesetzt. Das Volumen in den Spread-Produkten am
Spotmarkt belief sich auf 1,4 TWh.
Terminmärkte
Das Volumen an den PEGAS-Terminmärkten stieg im Mai im Vergleich zum
Vorjahresmonat um 10 Prozent auf 15,3 TWh (Mai 2014: 13,9 TWh). In den deutschen
Marktgebieten wurde ein Volumen von 2,8 TWh erreicht (Mai 2014: 6,2 TWh). In den
französischen Marktgebieten wurden im Mai insgesamt 1,7 TWh gehandelt, was einem
Anstieg von 32 Prozent entspricht (Mai 2014: 1,3 TWh). Am niederländischen TTFTerminmarkt stieg das Volumen um 65 Prozent auf 10,6 TWh (Mai 2014: 6,4 TWh). Im
finanziellen Produkt für das italienische Marktgebiet PSV wurde ein Volumen von
115.680 MWh erreicht. Das Volumen aus Trade Registration belief sich auf 913.440
MWh, wovon 891.360 MWh über Straight-Through Processing zum Clearing registriert
wurden.

PEGAS: Volumes négociés en mai 2015
Les volumes négociés sur les marché spot et dérivés augmentent sensiblement
par rapport à l’année précédente
Leipzig, Paris, 3 juin 2015 – PEGAS, la plateforme de négociation du gaz
paneuropéenne gérée par Powernext annonce qu’un volume total de 45,7 TWh a été
négocié en mai 2015. Cela représente une augmentation de 28 pourcent par rapport au
volume de 35,7 TWh négocié en mai 2014.
Marchés spot
Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot a atteint 30,4 TWh en mai, ce qui équivaut à
une augmentation de 39 pourcent comparée à l’année précédente (21,8 TWh en mai
2014). Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot allemands (zones de marché
GASPOOL et NCG) s’est élevé à 14,3 TWh, soit une hausse de 44 pourcent par
rapport à mai 2014 (9,9 TWh). Le volume total sur le marché spot allemand inclut 5,4
TWh négociés en produits gaz haute et basse qualités. Un volume de 7,0 TWh a été
négocié sur les zones de marché spot françaises PEG Nord et TRS, soit une
augmentation de 6 pourcent par rapport au volume de 6,6 TWh traité en mai 2014. Le
volume traité au TTF néerlandais s’est amélioré de 69 pourcent par rapport à l’année
précédente (5,3 TWh en mai 2014) pour atteindre 9,0 TWh. Le marché spot belge ZTP
a enregistré un volume de 161 539 MWh. Le volume total des transactions sur les
spreads a atteint 1,4 TWh.
Marchés dérivés
En mai, le volume négocié sur les marchés dérivés de PEGAS a atteint 15,3 TWh, soit
une augmentation de 10 pourcent comparée au volume de 13,9 TWh établi en mai
2014. Les marchés dérivés allemands GASPOOL et NCG ont enregistré un volume de
2,8 TWh (6,2 TWh en mai 2014). Un volume de 1,7 TWh a été négocié sur les zones de
marché françaises PEG Nord et TRS, soit une hausse de 32 pourcent par rapport à
l’année précédente (1,3 TWh en mai 2014). Le marché dérivé au hub néerlandais TTF
a enregistré un volume de 10,6 TWh, ce qui représente une amélioration de 65
pourcent par rapport au volume de 6,4 TWh négocié en mai 2014. Les contrats
financiers de la zone italienne PSV ont atteint un volume total de 115 680 MWh. Le
volume des transactions OTC compensées a atteint 913 440 MWh, dont 891 360 MWh
conclus par le biais du service d’enregistrement Straight Trough Processing.
