PEGAS: New locational products for
Germany and France
Leipzig, Paris, 16 November 2015 – PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform
operated by Powernext, will introduce locational spot products on 17 November 2015.
These new products support the physical balancing of French Transmission System
Operators (TSO) and German Market Area Manager (MAM).
As a result, GASPOOL and GRTgaz will be able to perform balancing actions directly
on the existing PEGAS Trayport® ETSSM trading screen which has been adapted
accordingly. The new products are listed on the PEGAS spot market, allowing all
current PEGAS members to easily join in. Transactions will be cleared through
European Commodity Clearing (ECC).
PEGAS actively supported national regulatory authorities and grid operators in
designing the best possible market model to implement the EU Network Codes on
physical and locational gas balancing. PEGAS achieved a pan-European platform
which can be used by GASPOOL and GRTgaz today, but also by other TSOs in the
future.

PEGAS: Neue lokale Gasprodukte für
Deutschland und Frankreich
Leipzig, Paris, 16. November 2015 – PEGAS, die von Powernext betriebene paneuropäische Gashandelsplattform, wird am 17. November lokale Orderbücher am
Spotmarkt einführen, die den physischen Ausgleich von Gasflüssen durch französische
Ferngasnetzbetreiber und deutsche Marktgebietsverantwortliche ermöglichen.
Somit können physische Ausgleichsgeschäfte für die Marktgebiete GASPOOL und
GRTgaz direkt über den PEGAS Trayport® ETSSM-Screen getätigt werden. Dafür
richtet PEGAS am Spotmarkt neue lokale Orderbücher ein, die durch alle für diese
Märkte zugelassenen Handelsteilnehmer genutzt werden können. Das Clearing der
Handelsgeschäfte übernimmt die European Commodity Clearing (ECC).
PEGAS unterstützt die nationalen Regulierungsbehörden und Netzbetreiber bei der
Gestaltung eines Marktmodells zur Umsetzung der EU-Netzwerkcodes zum physischen
und standortbezogenen Gasmengenausgleich. Die PEGAS-Plattform wird nun durch
GASPOOL und GRTgaz zum Handel lokaler Gasprodukte genutzt und ist offen für die
Nutzung durch weitere Ferngasnetzbetreiber.

PEGAS: Nouveaux produits d’équilibrage
physique à livraison localisée, pour
l’Allemagne et la France
Leipzig, Paris, 16 novembre 2015 – PEGAS, la plateforme de négociation
paneuropéenne du gaz gérée par Powernext, introduira des produits à livraison
localisée le 17 novembre 2015. Ces nouveaux produits renforceront l’équilibrage
physique des gestionnaires de réseaux de transports, ainsi que des gestionnaires
allemands de zones d’équilibrages.
GASPOOL et GRTgaz pourront effectuer leurs opérations d’équilibrage directement sur
la plateforme de négociation PEGAS Trayport® ETSSM existante, légèrement adaptée
pour l’occasion. Les nouveaux produits seront listés sous le segment de marché
PEGAS spot, permettant ainsi aux membres actuels d’y accéder facilement. Les
transactions seront compensées par ECC (European Commodity Clearing).
PEGAS a travaillé activement avec les autorités nationales de régulation et les
gestionnaires de réseaux de transport afin de concevoir le meilleur modèle de marché
possible permettant de mettre en œuvre les codes de réseaux européens sur
l’équilibrage physique et localisé en
gaz naturel. PEGAS a créé une plateforme
paneuropéenne utilisable par GASPOOL et GRTgaz aujourd’hui, mais possiblement
aussi par d’autres gestionnaires de réseaux à l’avenir.
