PEGAS trading results of September 2015
PEGAS volumes increase 29 % year-on-year
Leipzig, Paris, 6 October 2015 – PEGAS, the pan-European gas trading platform
operated by Powernext, announced that a total volume of 70.6 TWh was traded in
September 2015, representing a year-on-year increase of 29 % (September 2014:
54.8 TWh).
Spot Markets
Overall spot trading volumes in September totalled 30.2 TWh, which is an increase of
26 % compared to September 2014. The German GASPOOL and NCG areas
registered a volume of 11.2 TWh in September, including 3.7 TWh traded in qualityspecific gas products. The Dutch TTF recorded a strong monthly volume with 9.5 TWh,
up 45 % compared to the previous year. The volume in the French PEG Nord and TRS
market areas totalled 8.9 TWh, showing an increase of 27 %. The Belgian ZTP area
registered a record month with 561 GWh (previous record: 560 GWh in August 2015).
Derivatives Markets
Trading volumes on the PEGAS derivatives markets reached 40.4 TWh which
represents a year-on-year increase of 31 %. The volume traded in the German
GASPOOL and NCG market areas amounted to 11.1 TWh, including a record month for
GASPOOL with 4.4 TWh (previous record: 4.2 TWh in July 2015). Trading volumes in
the French Nord and TRS market areas reached 3.4 TWh. The PSV Physical contracts
which were launched on PEGAS on 18 September recorded a volume of 1.2 TWh in the
first two weeks of trading. The Dutch TTF futures market contributed 24.6 TWh to the
derivatives volume in September. The volume registered for clearing via trade
registration amounted to 2.1 TWh.

PEGAS-Volumen 29 Prozent über Vorjahr
Leipzig / Paris, 6. Oktober 2015. Im September 2015 wurde auf PEGAS, der von
Powernext betriebenen Gashandelsplattform, ein Volumen von insgesamt 70,6 TWh
gehandelt. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahresmonat entspricht dies einem Anstieg von
29 Prozent (September 2014: 54,8 TWh).
Spotmärkte
Die Handelsvolumina an den Gas-Spotmärkten beliefen sich im September auf
insgesamt 30,2 TWh und stiegen somit um 26 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vorjahr. In den
deutschen Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG wurde ein Volumen von 11,2 TWh
gehandelt, darin enthalten sind 3,7 TWh aus dem Handel mit qualitätsspezifischen
Gasprodukten. Der niederländische TTF-Spotmarkt erzielte ein Volumen von 9,5 TWh,
was einem Anstieg von 45 Prozent gegenüber Vorjahr entspricht. Das Volumen in den
französischen Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS stieg auf 8,9 TWh (+27 Prozent). Im
belgischen ZTP-Marktgebiet erreichte PEGAS mit 561 GWh im September einen neuen
Monatsrekord (nach 560 GWh im August 2015).
Terminmärkte
An den PEGAS-Terminmärkten stieg das Handelsvolumen
im September um
31 Prozent auf 40,4 TWh. In den Marktgebieten GASPOOL und NCG belief sich das
Volumen auf 11,1 TWh, mit einem neuen Monatsrekord von 4,4 TWh im GASPOOLMarktgebiet (bisheriger Rekord: 4,2 TWh im Juli 2015). Das Handelsvolumen in den
Marktgebieten PEG Nord und TRS erreichte 3,4 TWh. Die neuen physischen Kontrakte
für das Marktgebiet PSV, die auf PEGAS am 18. September starteten, erreichten in den
ersten zwei Wochen ein Volumen von 1,2 TWh. Der TTF-Terminmarkt trug im
September 24,6 TWh zum Gesamtvolumen bei. Das Volumen am Terminmarkt enthält
2,1 TWh, die über Trade Registration zum Clearing registriert wurden.

PEGAS : Volumes négociés en septembre 2015
Les volumes de PEGAS augmentent de 29%
par rapport à l’année précédente
Leipzig / Paris, 6 octobre 2015. PEGAS, la plateforme de négociation du gaz
paneuropéenne gérée par Powernext annonce qu’un volume total de 70,6 TWh a été
négocié en septembre 2015. Cela représente une augmentation de 29% par rapport à
septembre 2014 (54,8 TWh).
Marchés spot
Le volume négocié sur les marchés spot a atteint 30,2 TWh, soit une augmentation de
26% par rapport à septembre 2014. Les zones de marchés allemandes GASPOOL et
NCG ont enregistré un volume total de 11,2 TWh, incluant 3,7 TWh négociés en
produits gaz haute et basse qualités. Le volume traité au TTF néerlandais s’est élevé à
9,5 TWh soit une solide progression de 45% comparée à l’année précédente. Un
volume de 8,9 TWh a été négocié sur les zones de marché spot françaises PEG Nord
et TRS, ce qui représente une augmentation de 27%. La zone de livraison belge ZTP a
enregistré un nouveau record de volume mensuel avec 561 GWh (record précédent :
560 GWh en août 2015).
Marchés dérivés
Un volume total de 40,4 TWh a été négocié sur les marchés PEGAS Futures, soit une
augmentation de 31% comparée à l‘année précédente. Les zones de livraison
allemandes GASPOOL et NCG ont enregistré un volume total de 11,1 TWh, incluant
un record mensuel pour GASPOOL avec 4,4 TWh (record précédent: 4,2 TWh en juillet
2015). Les marchés PEG Nord et TRS français ont atteint 3,4 TWh. Les produits PSV
Physiques italiens lancés par PEGAS le 18 septembre ont enregistré un volume de 1,2
TWh sur les deux premières semaines de négociation. Le marché dérivé au hub
néerlandais TTF a contribué à hauteur de 24,6 TWh au volume dérivé total. Le volume
des transactions OTC compensées a atteint 2,1 TWh.
