July 2013 Obituaries Hurst, Harold G. Winnipeg, MB - Dr. Harold G. Hurst completed his medical school training at St. Boniface Hospital. He then enlisted in the R.C.A.F. (1942) where he served as a medical doctor during the Second World War. Upon return to Winnipeg in 1949, he was one of five Dermatologists in western Canada and practised out of the Medical Arts building. He was President of the Canadian Dermatology Association, Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba and head of the section of Dermatology at the Health Sciences Centre in the 1970’s. On Saturday, February 2, 2013, at his home, Dr. Harold G. Hurst passed away peacefully at the age of 95.
