The Silverado property a d j o i n s t o t h e south. The occurrence was a p p a r e n t l y staked by J. R a a h t i and H. H i l l , of Stewart. Gold Ore Wining Company, Limited was formed i n February 1925 t o a c q u i r e t h e Eagle group of 4 claims, t h e Eagle No. 1, Eagle No. 3 F r a c t i o n , Eagle F r a c t i o n a l No. 4 and Babe No. 2 claims. Three of t h e claims e x p i r e d i n June and J u l y 1925 and w e r e r e s t a k e d by t h e o r i g i n a l owners, l e a v i n g t h e company one f r a c t i o n a l claim, t h e Eagle F r a c t i o n a l No. 4. No work o t h e r - t h a n a l i t t l e open c u t t i n g has been reported on t h i s occurrence. DESCRIPTION OF DEPOSITIDESCRIPTION D U GISEMENT The country rocks a r e v o l c a n i c s of t h e Hazelton group. Two p a r a l l e l q u a r t z v e i n s about 400 f e e t a p a r t s t r i k e e a s t e r l y i n t o t h e h i l l . The south v e i n i s s p a r i n g l y mineralized w i t h p y r r h o t i t e and t r a c e s of galena. An average sample a c r o s s 54 inches i n t h e f a c e of an open c u t assayed 2 0 ~ a ton i n gold, $3.43 a t o n i n s i l v e r , and 1.61% l e a d . The n o r t h - v e i n shows about 9 f e e t i n width of q u a r t z s p a r s e l y mineralized w i t h p y r r h o t i t e . A chip sample a c r o s s t h i s assayed 2 0 ~ a ton i n gold, and 7C a t o n i n s i l v e r ( a l l of t h e above assays a r e a t 1925 p r i c e s ) .
