The Board of Directors of Dexia, meeting today under the chairmanship of Mr. Jean-Luc Dehaene,
has taken note of the decision of Mr. Augustin de Romanet de Beaune to end his mandate as a
board member.
The Board has also decided to co-opt Mr. Olivier Mareuse as a member of the Board of Directors
in order to replace him. His final appointment will be submitted to the next General Meeting of
Dexia SA.
Dexia thanks Mr. Augustin de Romanet de Beaune for his contribution as a member of the Board
of Directors.

Le conseil d’administration de Dexia, réuni ce jour sous la présidence de M. Jean-Luc Dehaene, a
pris acte de la décision de M. Augustin de Romanet de Beaune de mettre fin à son mandat
d’administrateur.
Le conseil a également décidé de coopter M. Olivier Mareuse comme membre du conseil
d’administration, afin de pourvoir à son remplacement. Sa nomination définitive sera proposée à la
prochaine assemblée générale de Dexia SA.

De raad van bestuur van Dexia, vandaag bijeengekomen onder het voorzitterschap van de heer
Jean-Luc Dehaene, heeft akte genomen van de beslissing van de heer Augustin de Romanet de
Beaune om een einde te maken aan zijn bestuursmandaat.
De raad besloot eveneens over te gaan tot de coöptatie van de heer Olivier Mareuse als lid van de
raad van bestuur om hem te vervangen. Zijn definitieve benoeming wordt voorgelegd aan de
eerstvolgende algemene vergadering van Dexia NV.
Dexia bedankt de heer Augustin de Romanet de Beaune voor zijn bijdrage aan de
werkzaamheden van de raad van bestuur.

Appendix : biography
Olivier Mareuse is Chief Financial Officer of the Group Caisse des Dépôts. A graduate of the
Institute of Political Studies in Paris and of the Ecole nationale d’administration (ENA), Olivier
Mareuse joined the collective insurance department of CNP Assurances in 1988, of which he was
appointed technical, administrative and accounting manager in 1989. In 1991, he was appointed
project officer to the managing director, in charge of the company’s statute reform programme.
From 1993 until 1998, he was head of strategy, management control and shareholder relations, as
well as secretary of the Supervisory Board at CNP. In 1999, he was appointed head of Investments
with CNP financial department. On 15 October 2010, he was appointed deputy Chief Financial
Officer at the Group Caisse des Dépôts before becoming Chief Financial Officer on 15 December
2010.
Olivier Mareuse est directeur financier du groupe Caisse des Dépôts. Diplômé de l’Institut
d’études politiques et ancien élève de l’École nationale d’administration (ENA), il commence sa
carrière à la direction des Assurances Collectives de CNP Assurances en 1988. Il en devient le
directeur technique, administratif et comptable en 1989. En 1991 il est chargé de mission auprès
du directeur général pour conduire la réforme du statut de l'entreprise. Il est directeur de la
stratégie, du contrôle de gestion et des relations avec les actionnaires et secrétaire du Conseil de
Surveillance de CNP Assurances de 1993 à 1998. En 1999 il devient directeur des
investissements à la direction financière de CNP. Le 15 octobre 2010 il est nommé directeur
financier adjoint du groupe Caisse des Dépôts, dont il devient directeur financier le 15 décembre
2010.
Olivier Mareuse is financieel directeur van de groep Caisse des Dépôts. Na zijn studies aan het
Institut d’études politiques en aan de Ecole nationale d’administration (ENA), begon hij zijn
loopbaan bij de directie collectieve verzekeringen van CNP Assurances in 1988. Hij werd er in
1989 technisch, administratief en boekhoudkundig directeur benoemd. In 1991 werd hij speciaal
afgezant van de directeur-generaal met het oog op de hervorming van het statuut van de
onderneming. Van 1993 tot 1998 was hij directeur strategie, beheerscontrole en relaties met de
aandeelhouders, alsook secretaris van de raad van toezicht bij CNP. In 1999 werd hij directeur
investeringen bij de financiële directie van CNP. Op 15 oktober 2010 werd hij aangesteld als
adjunct-financieel directeur van de groep Caisse des Dépôts, waarvan hij op 15 december 2010
financieel directeur werd.
