He provides the “good” things like cherished relationships, talented minds and bodies, and abundant possessions and wealth. One catalyst for our devotion comes through recognizing that God is the source of these gifts. Gratitude prompts the desire to share our gifts and thus experience what we ask for in the Collect today, the “full and lasting happiness to serve with constancy”. Stewardship is to walk the road of joy. Stewardship Office, The Archdiocese of Winnipeg, Saturday 11:30 to 12 noon or by appointment. Marriage At least one party must be a registered member of the parish. Minimum 6 months notification. Mandatory marriage preparation course. Ministry to the Sick Communion to shut-ins every first Friday. Hospital visits upon request. Sacrament of the Sick upon request. 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time 33e dimanche du temps ordinaire November 17, 2013 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time: We must not let distractions of the world’s chaos and disorder dispel God’s perfect plan of salvation. Today’s readings show us that even in a world gone mad, we are still empowered to bring God’s order to any situation. Whether it is by our behavior, our words or our presence, believers have been given the power to share God’s message no matter where we find ourselves. Next Sunday’s readings are: Les lectures pour dimanche prochain: 2 Samuel 5:1-3 Colossians 1:12-20 Luke 23:35-43 2 Samuel 5, 1-3 Colossiens 1, 12-20 Luc 23, 35-43 Running on Empty A Visitation Parish Mission Dec. 8, 9 and 10, 2013 7:00pm - 8:00pm The Visitation "Mission Team" wants to invite you to journey with us as we reflect and prepare for the coming of Christ.
