I'm going to throw a spanner in the works and say that
I don't buy into this idea of a cologne for warmer
weather. I actually wear something heavier when it's
hot: a cologne vanishes too quickly in an atmosphere
of sweat and humidity. Still, each to their own.
Mind you, I do think colognes have a place in the
perfume universe and it's a skill to create one which

'real' perfume too.
I've booked a ticket for the RI lecture and I hope I'll
get a chance to go... but whether I'll actually be able to
