Catholic Engaged Encounter of Atlanta Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) is an international marriage preparation program which gives engaged couples ‘the gift of time’ in the form of an entire weekend together to discuss their relationship with God, each other, and the community at large. The retreat weekends are presented by a team of 2 married couples and a priest or deacon. The cost of the retreat weekend varies by location, but the contents are identical. For more information and to register for a weekend, please visit our website www.atlcee.org. This program is endorsed by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and satisfies the Archdiocesan requirement for marriage preparation. Knights of Peter Claver Scholarship The Knights of Peter Claver, Council 313 is offering a college scholarship for graduating seniors who are members of Sts. Peter and Paul. For application forms, see any Knight or come by the Parish Office. Notes from The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia Did you know you can leave the remainder of your estate to the parish for the endowment fund or for a building fund? After all of your bequests have been made to children, grandchildren and others, there is always something left. So when you are making your will, consider leaving the remainder of the estate or even a percentage of the remainder to the parish. This could be assets you own that no one in the family wants. The executor will work with The Catholic Foundation to convert these assets to cash for the parish. As we know, God has blessed us with all we have and this way the remainder of your assets will flow back to God by helping the parish for the future. If you have questions about what you can leave to the parish or how you can leave assets to the parish, please call Diane Duquette, Director of Gift Planning at The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia: (404) 497-9440 or [email protected].
