The Fondation of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec awarded a total of $13,000 to 13 full-time students who obtained the best cumulative averages within their respective programs in 2014. The Fondation of the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec also took advantage of one of the grant recipient’s presence, Ms Mélanie Turgeon, motivation speaker, international athlete and residential real estate broker, to present her conference “From Preparation to Action!”. She shared with the audience ups and downs of her success story and offered practical step by step advice to reach its goals from conception to completion. The Fondation of the Collège de l’immobilier’s Evening of Excellence is the most important event to recognize real estate education in Québec. The brokers honoured at this event come from or work in the Montréal, Laval, Laurentians, South Shore, Eastern Townships, Centre-du-Québec and Québec. They studied at the Collège de l’immobilier du Québec in 2014, either in classroom or in virtual classrooms, in English or in French. Since the launch of the Foundation in 2003, more than $235,000 has been distributed in excellence awards to the best performing students and in scholarships. The Collège, its Foundation and their partners congratulate the winners of this 12th annual Evening of Excellence and re-emphasize their commitment to the development of Quebec’s commercial real estate, residential real estate and mortgage brokerage professionals.
