INSTRUCTIONS FOR TRAILERS AND VEHICLE PARKING
Here are some details for the MANDATORY route to be taken by drivers with trailer and for passenger cars.
VEHICLES WITH TRAILER:
Direct access to the club through the town of Villennes and “le chemin de la Sourde” is impracticable for any
trailer or vehicle of a certain size because of a narrow railway bridge.
Therefore, cars with trailers will get to the club via the town of Poissy, along the towpath.
The trailers will be parked along the edge of the towpath, 300m before the club.
Participating clubs should provide wheeled supports to facilitate moving the boats to the pontoon for the start in
front of the club.
The week before the event, the representative of each participating should contact Mr. Jean Betbeder +33 6 83
34 15 82 with the planned date and time of arrival in order to facilitate their reception and parking.
OTHER VEHICLES:
Passenger cars will follow a more direct access and will head towards the town of Villennes “rue de Poissy”.
When coming from the A13 motorway, “rue de Poissy” is on the left at the traffic light at the bottom of the hill.
A sign at the junction indicates the presence of the rowing club (“Aviron Club”).
The cars will be parked along “la rue de Poissy”. The rowers will then get to the club by walking down “Chemin
de la Sourde” (passing under the railway bridge: about 100 m).
Access by car beyond the railway bridge is prohibited for any vehicle that is part of the event, to allow access to
residents and facilitate the manoeuvring of vehicles with trailer (turning area).

HOW TO GET TO OUR CLUB FOR TRAILERS AND INDIVIDUAL CAR FROM MOTORWAY A13:
1. Take exit and follow signs Poissy Villennes sur Seine
2. Take “Avenue d’Acqueville” (D153)
3. Passengers cars turn left on “rue de Poissy”, while trailers continue straight on
On leaving the A13
motorway, take direction
Villennes (D153) and
continue until you come to
the street “Rue de Poissy”

HOW TO GET TO OUR CLUB FOR TRAILERS AND PASSENGERS CARS FROM POISSY
CENTER :
1. At the roundabout “Place verte” (near the Poissy railway station), head towards the A13
2. Follow the street “Rue du Port “ along the Seine
3. Turn right onto the road “Cours du 14 juillet” (limited to small road 30 km / h – “Esturgeon” restaurant
on the right hand side)
4. Follow the road ‘Cours du 14 juillet” (there are several speed bumps). Trailers turn right towards the
Migneaux Island while cars continue straight on to pass under the railway bridge
Head towards the A13

SPECIAL VEHICLES FOR:
After joining the St. Louis Street (towards A13), follow the road to the next crossing to the right, leaving
the Meissonnier Park on your left.
At the 2nd light, take the right toward the street and take Villennes Poissy.
