The goal of this new club is to educate and raise awareness about Africa. • Committee: IDS (InterDisciplinary Subcommittee): 2009-2011. • Faculty Meetings: Attended most faculty meetings. • African Week (2007): Member of the Organizing Committee • Chapel attendance: attended or watched live most chapels services Foreign Language Department: • Foreign Language Competency Committee: 2007-present. Discussed and resolved (along with Drs. Shaffer and Townsend) students who had issue with the Foreign language Competency exam • La Table Française: Hired and supervising the French native speaker student who was in charge of “La Table Française”. 2009-2012. • German and Spanish Positions Search Committee: I was member of the 2008-2009 German and Spanish positions search committee. • Served on the committee responsible for the assessment of the multicultural component of Foreign language curriculums (for the 10 year review). 2006-2007. • Department Meetings: I attended and participated in all meetings. 2004present. • Students Advising: I advise formally every year 7 students on average. • Study Abroad: o “Wheaton in France”: Summer 2011 (Organized as Director. Involvement: • Small Group: My family is part of a small group that meets every other week for fellowship, sharing and prayer. • Family Men’s Small Group: I am member of a men’s group that meets weekly for fellowship, Bible Study, prayer and accountability. • Kids’ Soccer Coach: I coach a kids’ soccer team in the summer. 8
