ANGE est sans conteste le groupe français de rock Progressif le plus populaire de tous les
temps. La formation du charismatique chanteur Christian DECAMPS occupa le devant de la scène
hexagonale durant les années soixante-dix. Le temps n’a nullement empêché ANGE de rester un
incroyable groupe de scène, capable de mobiliser un public nombreux et enthousiaste. Le DVD
"Anthologie - Sève Qui Peut" nous le démontre de manière éclatante ! Les deux parties du mythique
concert de Mulhouse en avril 1990 sont enfin reconstituées: l’album "Sève Qui Peut" dans son
intégralité, suivi de quelques-uns des meilleurs titres écrits par ANGE. Le tout étant complété par dix
minutes d’archives photo commentées par Christian DECAMPS lui-même. Un objet de collection
unique et indispensable !
ANGE is without any doubt the most popular French Progressive Rock band of all-times.
Coming from Belfort (Near the Swiss border), the group was at the forefront of the French musical
scene during the Seventies. Its theatrality and magnificence was tailor-made for live performances, the
charismatic singer Christian DECAMPS’ favourite playground. Musea owns the rights of the only band
onstage’s movies ever published, unfortunately reserved for the French market (VHS SECAM
Format). They are now available worldwide, for the first time on DVD (NTSC format) ! "SeventiesEighties" contains three unique documents : a live performance recorded in a Swiss farm for the local
national television in 1976 (With interview), a concert in the Lorraine region the following year and the
much sought-after Zenith show in Paris during the year 1985. Time didn’t affect ANGE’s potential live,
and the band still remains capable of moving huge and enthusiastic crowds. The "Anthologie - Sève
Qui Peut" DVD can be seen as a brilliant evidence of this fact ! The two parts of the mythical
Mulhouse concert in April 1990 are reunited at last : the "Sève Qui Peut" album in its integrality,
followed by some of the best compositions ever written by ANGE. The whole is completed by ten
minutes of photograph archives commented by Christian DECAMPS himself. Two collectors items
both unique and essential !
