UN PETIT APERÇU DES CAMPS
Le centre d’Entrepreneurship du Restigouche fut l’hôte cet été, de cinq camps
d’entrepreneurship, dans la région du Restigouche; un camp dans la région de
Dalhousie, un à Eel River Bar et trois à Campbellton. Plus de 100 jeunes âgés de 9 à 12
ans ont participé à cette aventure entrepreneuriale. Ces camps offrent une occasion en
or pour les jeunes de la région de devenir entrepreneur et par le fait même d'avoir la
possibilité d’ouvrir leur propre entreprise d’un jour. Il s’agit d’une expérience enrichissante
où les jeunes ont pu développer leurs habiletés entrepreneuriales telles que le
leadership, le travail d’équipe, la créativité et un grand sens de responsabilité.
The Restigouche Entrepreneurship Centre was,
this summer, the host of five Break into Business
camps held throughout the Restigouche region;
one camp in Dalhousie, one in Eel River Bar and
three in Campbellton. This summer over 100
children between the ages of 9 and 12 embarked
on this entrepreneurial adventure. These camps
offer a great opportunity for these children to
become entrepreneurs and give them the
opportunity of opening their very own business for
one day. This rewarding experience allows them to
develop entrepreneurial qualities such as
leadership, teamwork, creativity and a great sense
of responsibility.
CAMPS OVERVIEW
Pendant leur semaine de camp, ces jeunes entrepreneurs ont eu la
chance de visiter une entreprise existante de la région. Cette visite leur
a permis de mieux comprendre les réalités d’être entrepreneur. /
During their week at the camp, these young entrepreneurs had the
chance to visit an existing business in the region. This visit had them
seeing, first hand, the realities of being an entrepreneur.

Les camps d’entrepreneurship permettent également à nos jeunes entrepreneurs de mieux
comprendre la valeur de l’argent en participant à une simulation de prêt. À chacun des
camps, un représentant des Caisses populaires acadiennes de la région du Restigouche
se rend au camp afin de donner l’opportunité aux jeunes d’effectuer un prêt au montant
maximal de 20 $ qui leur permettra de mettre sur pied leur entreprise d’un jour. / These
entrepreneurship camps also give to our young entrepreneurs, the chance to obtain a
better understanding of money and its value by taking part in a loan simulation. At each
camp, a representative from the Caisse Populaire of the Restigouche region would come
and meet with the kids in order to make a maximum loan of $20 which would help them
start up their business for a day.

problems and how to reasonably communicate and
