We are looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to fill the role of Retail Development Manager
(contract position). Reporting to the Retail Development Director, the Retail Development Manager is
responsible to manage, consolidate, track and report on activities and information in support of new
store execution for our Lindt Chocolate Shops.
Responsibilities:











Work closely with Director Retail Development to facilitate timely and accurate update of budget
Develop, manage and update templates for current leases for all Lindt Chocolate Shops
Review and compare new leases to ensure consistency with current leases on KPI and
communicate discrepancies with legal counsel
Work with Retail Development Project Manager on the execution of store specific binders, which
includes all relevant store specific data to assist with the day-to-day maintenance of Chocolate
Shops
Develop and manage an overall critical path that shows all upcoming new store projects
Provide detailed weekly reporting on store construction progress, ensuring timely communication
of any deviations to the critical path
Support the Investment Request process by developing key communication selling points on all
upcoming projects
Effectively provide department support, analysis and reporting activities
Work closely with cross functional groups, external vendors and customers to discuss and
resolve ongoing and ad-hoc department questions and concerns. Encourage a proactive
approach to maximize efficiency and accuracy of activities
Manage special projects as needed
Responsible for various administrative tasks and provide support to the Retail Development team
Qualifications:
 A university or college degree or equivalent related experience
 A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role. Packaged Goods industry experience is
an asset.
 A self-starter with an ability to work both independently and as a team member.
 Strong computer proficiency in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Play, and APO is an asset.
 Ability to multi-task (project based work experience).
 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
 Project based work experience an asset

Open and closing duties including; handle cash, bank drops, merchandise and restock
products, support with inventory duties, driving sales, provide an update on sales to the
management team and assist with corporate gifting.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in a key holder capacity and 2-3 years of retail experience
Candidates must be available to work an average of (15 – 40 hours per week) and must
have flexibility to work daytime, evenings and weekends including holidays.

Exigences :








Un ou deux ans d’expérience à titre de détenteur de clé; deux ou trois ans d’expérience
dans le secteur de la vente au détail
Diplôme d’études secondaires, de préférence
Don pour le marchandisage et la présentation de produits haut de gamme
Compétences remarquables en communication orale et écrite
Expérience exceptionnelle en service à la clientèle; dépassement des attentes

Le candidat doit être prêt à travailler entre 15 et 40 heures par semaine, en moyenne. Il
