CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE U18 DIVISION 1 GROUPE A
Le Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur a l’honneur d’organiser le championnat du monde de hockey sur glace 18
ans division 1 qui se déroulera du dimanche 13 au samedi 19 avril 2014 à la Patinoire Jean Bouin de
Nice.
Jean-François ROPART, Président du Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur : « C’est un privilège pour notre club
d’accueillir cette compétition internationale. L’ensemble des collectivités, licenciés, bénévoles et
partenaires ont répondu présent pour leur soutien sur cet évènement. Nous souhaitons un très bon
championnat du monde aux 6 nations présentes et que le meilleur gagne ! ».
Un comité d’organisation a été constitué au sein du club et est composé de : Éric ROPERT (Directeur
Général de la FFHG), Alexandre DUYCK, Jérémy VITOU, Pierre SCHWARTZ, Philippe PAGEAULT,
Martine SANGUINETTI et Jean Hubert MORIN.
Les équipes qui participeront à ce championnat du monde sont : la France, L’Italie, la Biélorussie, la
Lettonie, la Norvège et le Kazakhstan.

PRESENTATION DU NICE HOCKEY COTE D’AZUR
Le Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur est un club français de hockey sur glace évoluant en Division 1. Il est situé
à Nice, en Région Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur. Depuis sa formation en 2003, le Nice Hockey Côte
d’Azur propose à la communauté niçoise et aux
alentours, une activité de glisse « hivernale » dans
une région où le soleil, la mer et les palmiers sont
rois.
Le Nice Hockey Côte d’Azur ou encore Les Aigles
de Nice sont entraînés par Stanislav SUTOR sous la
présidence de Jean-françois ROPART et évoluent à
la patinoire Jean Bouin (1200 places assises).
Le NHCA, jeune et ambitieux, possède plus de 280
licenciés répartis dans 11 équipes.
