Reuter Opus 2069 was originally built in 1985 for
Highland Heights Christian Church in Wichita Falls,
Texas. It was made available for sale when the
church merged with two other congregations.
Renovation of the instrument included seven ranks
of new pipes and extensions for five existing ranks,
greatly enhancing the tonal resources of this
versatile, two-manual organ. The Great principal
chorus is exposed and the rest of the Great
pipework is in its own enclosure. New framing was
designed for the existing expression louvers to
improve their range of motion for maximum
dynamic control.
