PPG receives NATM Associate Member of the
Year award
STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers (NATM) has honored PPG with its Associate Member of the Year
Award. PPG will be presented with the award at the NATM National
Convention in Charleston, South Carolina at the Embassy Suites Hotel Airport/Convention Center.
The NATM Associate Member of the Year Award is presented to an associate member that has shown outstanding support of NATM. Selection is based on
activities including membership recruitment, support of the convention,
sponsorships and other activities that promote NATM and the trailer manufacturing industry.
“NATM relies on active members to help expand membership as well as
promote awareness of the trailer manufacturing industry,” said Travis Eby,
NATM President. “PPG has been very supportive of NATM in many aspects
including convention sponsorship and committee participation. It is members like PPG that keep our association strong and maintain our ability to
provide further education and awareness about trailer safety and the trailer manufacturing industry.”
“This is quite an honor for all of us at PPG. NATM is an important organization in the industry. Working with NATM has been extremely rewarding as
well as educational. We do all we can do to assist in advancing their programs, and we sincerely appreciate their recognition of our efforts,” said
Ron Yarnell, commercial market development manager.
A leader in the trailer manufacturing industry, PPG has been an NATM
member since 1999 and a convention sponsor since 2003. PPG is currently
working with NATM on the Paint Processes Special Project and also approached NATM about co-sponsoring a “Green Manufacturing” award for
trailer manufacturers. In addition, Yarnell has been an NATM workshop
leader and served on the Convention Committee for three years.
