rendre visite à Élisabeth. Elle fait le trajet en portant en elle le Verbe de
Dieu. Aujourd’hui, elle est notre modèle dans l’obéissance de la foi et
dans le témoignage de la présence de Dieu.

couture, les nouveaux cierges de l’Avent, qui servent le café après les messes. Votre
ténacité et votre générosité est grandement appréciée.
 Robert est revenu et déjà, avec Germain, des travaux ont été faits. Grand merci
Robert et Germain pour votre temps et votre énergie.
 Merci aussi à Venessa Boucher d’avoir fait le scan d’un livre. C’est apprécié!
 En ce temps de Noël, moi, Nicole, et l’Abbé Noël, désirons dire merci à tous les
paroissiens qui nous aident et qui nous soutiennent. Merci aussi aux membres du
Club de l’Amitié pour les fêtes que vous organisées et pour les visites aux malades que
vous faîtes. Joyeaux Noël à chacun de vous et à vos familles. Que le Seigneur Jésus

Quatrième dimanche de l’Avent

St Jean tressaille dans le sein d’Elisabeth
quand il rencontre Jésus pour la première
fois. La Réconciliation est une rencontre
intime avec notre Seigneur et chaque
confession devrait nous faire tressaillir de
joie puisque nous recevons l’amour et la
miséricorde de Dieu.
Action: Marie et Elisabeth se sont saluées
en se prenant dans les bras et en
s’embrassant. Lors de la Réconciliation,
Dieu nous serre tendrement dans ses bras.
Partageons ce geste d’amour de Dieu
avec les autres.

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY - The Catholic service with Bishop Henry will take
place during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2016 on Thursday Jan. 21st, 2016 at 7:008:30pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Calgary. Pray with other Christian leaders and Bishop Henry as
we explore the week’s theme that together Christians of all denominations are "Called to proclaim
the mighty acts of the Lord" (1 Pet. 2:9). Reception will follow.

CANADIAN CATHOLIC ORGANIZATION FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PEACE
Save the Date: The Share Lent Workshop will be held on Saturday, January 23rd from 10 am to
3 pm at Corpus Christi Church, 404 Northmount Place NW, Calgary. We are continuing our
‘Create a Climate of Change’ campaign into the season of reflection, prayer, fasting and
almsgiving. We will explore how to use the freely available materials to enhance our celebration

AN EVENING OF EUCHARISTIC ADORATION WITH SILENCE & SACRED MUSIC
In solidarity with those attending the Eucharistic Congress in Cebu, all in the Diocese of Calgary
are invited and encouraged to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament during this
week. An evening of Eucharistic Adoration with silence and sacred music will take place at St.
Mary’s Cathedral on Wednesday January 27, 2016 from 6pm – 8pm. You are welcome to
attend for the entire time or in part.
THE 33RD ANNUAL OUTDOOR WAY OF THE CROSS - Outdoor Way of the Cross will be
celebrated on Good Friday, March 25th, 2016. Please join us on this walk through the inner city
streets of Calgary, listening to scripture readings, music, and reflecting on the suffering, passion
and death of our Lord. This event could not happen without the help of many people. If you are

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION - As part of the Year of Mercy, the Diocese
of Calgary invites you to re-discover the meaning of the sacrament of
Reconciliation in your life. In addition to the regular parish schedule, the
sacrament of Reconciliation will be available at parishes throughout the Diocese
of Calgary all the Wednesdays of Advent from 7:30 – 8:30pm.
