Open House Notice Energy East Pipeline Project
March 21, 2014 - TransCanada is conducting a series of open houses over the next few weeks
for the Energy East Pipeline Project.
This second round of open houses will be held in many locations across Canada in advance of
our regulatory application with the National Energy Board (NEB). Open houses are part of our
broad stakeholder engagement program that began in April 2013.
We would be pleased if you and members of your council would be able to attend one of the
events in your area, as listed below. Additionally, while we are advertising the open houses on
radio and in newspapers, we encourage you to advise local residents that we will be hosting
these events.

March 27, 2014 - Please be advised that poor driving conditions in southern Alberta are
preventing safe travel to the Hardisty area. In the interest of public safety and the safety of
TransCanada employees travelling from Calgary and other points to the south, the Energy East
Pipeline Open House scheduled for this evening in Hardisty has been cancelled.
TransCanada will re-schedule the Hardisty open house and will notify you in the coming days of
a new date for this event. Alternatively, the new date will be advertised on local radio and in
local newspapers. You can also visit our website for updates, at www.energyeastpipeline.com.
