Ensemble, soutenons et accompagnons les actions de développement durable Coopérative de Solidarité Internationale Mission Form mission code : RDROP002 Mission Title: Organizing activities to raise awareness among children, about environment topics Place : North India, Uttar Pradesh Partner : French NGO. Please check the Local Partner Form to get the partner presentation. Project(s) description: In addition to conducting awareness campaigns in French schools about environment sustainability, the NGO does it on field as well, in India. For instance, since the beginning of the project and with the help of Indian and foreign volunteers, the association created a theater exhibition with children from the village. Volunteering mission objectives: * To make an intercultural exchange between France and India through various communication tools (ex: Muppets, music, pictures, films, drawings etc.) * Raising awareness among French and Indian children, youth and/or adults on ecosystem functioning. * To share material and knowledge between France and India about environment management. Volunteering mission description : Before departure, the volunteer will prepare some material she/he may have about environment topics. Once in India, the volunteer will go around with our partner to see the work realized on the field to contribute to environment protection. Afterwards she/he will organize friendly and interactive activities to raise awareness among children, youth and/or adults on environment topics. Using less word as possible will be highly appreciated because of the language problem. Mission report : In her/his report, the volunteer will describe the work done. She/he will report to the beneficiaries’ expectations at the beginning of the mission and their satisfaction level at the end.
