INVITATION
International Symposium
FUTURE PROSPECTS FOR THE ECO-VALORIZATION OF QUEBEC NATIVE PLANTS
Dear entrepreneurs, future entrepreneurs and residents,
As part of the Collines-de-l’Outaouais L’Entrep’Rendez-vous series, the Centre local de
développement des Collines-de-l’Outaouais (CLD), the Consortium de recherche et
innovations en bioprocédés industriels au Québec (CRIBIQ), and the Centre d’études des
procédés chimiques du Québec (CÉPROCQ) invite you to their international symposium
entitled Future Prospects for the eco-valorization of Quebec Native Plants on Wednesday
and Thursday December 5 and 6, 2012 at the Domaine de L’Ange-Gardien.
The geography and history of the MRC of Collines-de-l'Outaouais lend themselves particularly
well to the cultivation of native plants. It is for this reason that the CLD of Collines-del'Outaouais identified this niche as one with tremendous potential for economic
diversification, particularly in regard to the use of plants for nutraceutical, cosmeceutical,
pharmaceutical, medicinal and agri-food purposes.
