COURSE A OBSTACLES
Morzine accueille la 1ere édition du Summer week-end Spartan Race.
Le leader mondial des courses à obstacles investit la station pour un week-end
100% défis, 100% dépassement de soi.
3 parcours tracés autour de Morzine et dans le village pour du grand spectacle !
Animations sur la zone de départ/arrivée, au Palais des Sports : échauffement en musique, essais
d’obstacles, stands partenaires, célébration des concurrents avec la remise de la médaille de « Finisher ».
SAMEDI 2 JUILLET
Grand parcours / Spartan Beast : 1er départ 9h, passage dans le centre-village (rue du Bourg et place Office
de Tourisme) à partir de 11h.
Petit parcours / Spartan Sprint : 1er départ 13h, passage dans le centre-village à partir de 13h30.
DIMANCHE 3 JUILLET
Moyen parcours / Spartan Super : 1er départ 9h, passage dans le centre-village à partir de 10h.

Spartan junior : 6-8 ans: environ 750 m / 9-11 ans: environ 1,5 km / 12-13 ans: environ 2 km /13 ans et
+ : Les enfants âgés de 13 à 16 ans pourront venir s'inscrire sur le stand Junior Race, ils feront le même
parcours que les 12-13 ans.

Morzine reçoit l’événement incontournable pour tous les amoureux de
cyclisme. Cyclo de 146 km entre Megève et Morzine. Arrivée des 1ers
coureurs vers 12h au Palais des Sports.
Au Palais des Sports : nombreuses animations en libre accès : Show trial,
zone de maniabilité et d’initiation pour les enfants, jeux pour enfants (jeux en bois, légos géants, bac à
boules), buvette, diffusion du Tour de France sur écran géant, stands partenaires et village gourmand.

The world-leader of obstacle courses in in town 2-3 July for a weekend of 100% commitment and
challenge to push yourself to the limit! The Spartan Race is our first obstacle race! Features 3 courses
around Morzine and in the village for extra fun! There are lots of activities to do in the
start/finish area in the Palaisdes. Sports: musical warm-up, obstacle challenges,
sponsors’ stands, racers’ party with “Finisher’s medal” prize-giving.
Saturday 2 July
Main race / Spartan Beast: 1st racers leave at 9am, reach the village centre (Rue du Bourg and Tourist
Office Square) from 11am.
Shorter race/ Spartan Sprint: 1st racers leave at 1pm, reach the village centre from 1.30pm.
Sunday 3 July
Medium race/Spartan Super: 1st racers leave at 9am, reach the village centre from 10am.

Morzine is hosting an unmissable event for cycling fans, the Tour "Etape",
a 146km cyclosportive between Morgins and Morzine.
For 2016, the Etape event will be taking place on the key stage of the 103rd
Tour de France, between Megève and MorzineThe first racers are expected
at around midday at the Palais des sports.Everything will be laid on in the finish area: bike and luggage
lockers, pasta party, “Finisher” medal and T-shirt prize-giving.
In front of the Palais des Sports you’ll find events and activities : trial show, handling demonstration and
introductory session for kids, hosted by the Comité Régional de Cyclisme. kids’ games, bar and light
snacks, Tour de France on the big screen, sponsors’ stands and activities
