Paul Tom was born in Montreal in 1952. He completed his primary and
secondary schooling in Hong Kong where he studied painting under the
artist Lee Wai On from 1965 to 1969. Upon his return to Canada, he studied
visual arts at Cégep du Vieux-Montréal (1972-1975) and at Concordia
University (1982-1985). Paul Tom now lives and works in Montreal.

Né à Montréal en 1952, Paul Tom a fait ses études primaires et
secondaires à Hong Kong, où il a suivi l’enseignement du peintre
Lee Wai On de 1965 à 1969. De retour au Canada, il a étudié en arts
visuels au Cégep du Vieux-Montréal (1972-1975) et à l’Université
Concordia (1982-1985). Aujourd’hui, Paul Tom vit et travaille
à Montréal.
