Celebrating Consecrated Life
In this year dedicated by Pope Francis honouring religious life throughout
the world, our archdiocese is celebrating a special Mass of Thanksgiving
offered by Archbishop Pettipas for the missionary priests and sisters
serving in our archdiocese.

Federal Physician-assisted Suicide Consultation
The federal government is currently conducting public consultations and
receiving online submissions before preparing and submitting legislative
options later this fall for Physician Assisted Suicide (PAS) and Euthanasia. The
concluding date for all online consultation has been extended to
November 1, 2015. We invite all of you to submit your views as faithful
Catholics by completing the “Issues Book” and answering the survey
questionnaire at ep-ce.ca/en/consultation.
It is very important that we communicate at every opportunity our
absolute opposition to physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia.
