des hommes du 507e PIR. Le parachutage aura lieu à la fin de la cérémonie à la stèle du 507e PIR
(11h30). Si annulé à cause de la météo, reporté au lundi 6 juin vers 11h.
 Historic parachute jump from C-47 plane, in the pastures, place called “Le Thiers”, in memory of
the 507th PIR soldiers. The parachute jump will occur after the ceremony near the 507th PIR
monument (11.30 a.m.). Jump may be cancelled because of weather conditions and will be put back
to Monday, June 6th, 11 a.m.

 Les groupes de reconstitution du MVCG France présentent les plus belles pièces de leur collection
avec une exposition à Isigny-sur-Mer puis une parade et des démonstrations de mise à l’eau de
véhicules amphibies en soirée à Grandcamp-Maisy (sous réserve). Un moment idéal pour admirer
des véhicules d’époque et échanger avec des passionnés !
 The conservation groups from MVCG France show off the finest pieces in their collection with an
exhibition in Isigny-sur-Mer and then a parade followed of amphibian vehicles launching
demonstrations in the evening in Grandcamp-Maisy (subject to practicability). The perfect moment
to admire vintage vehicles and exchange with passionate people!

 Exposition illustrant la libération du village par les Canadiens et les Anglais, puis l’installation du
studio de la BBC dans la Tour carrée du château. Évocation du quartier général de Montgomery au
Château de Creullet, opérationnel dès le 8 juin 1944, où il accueillit notamment Churchill,
Einsenhower et George VI. Les Anciennes Halles, place Paillaud, à côté de l’Hostellerie Saint-Martin.
 Exhibition about the village’s liberation by the Canadian and the British soldiers which was
followed by the installation of the BBC studio inside the castle square tower. Evocation of
Montgomery’s headquarters at the Creullet castle set up since June, 8th 1944, where he welcomed
Churchill, Eisenhower and George VI. The former covered market, place Paillaud, near Hostellerie
Saint-Martin.

camp, l’exposition montre également l’objectif de rééducation de jeunes Allemands à la démocratie.
 The exhibition shows unseen information and testimonies such as the staging of original items
never displayed to any audience. Beyond the presentation of the camp daily life, the exhibition also
shows its rehabilitation aim of young Germans to democracy.

conflit en 1939-1940, réalisée par le Secrétariat d’Etat à la Défense chargé des Anciens Combattants,
l'Office national des anciens combattants et des victimes de guerre, et avec la participation de
l’association « Les Fleurs de La Résistance ».
 The exhibition consists of 26 panels that describe the commitment of the Resistance as soon as
the beginning of the war in 1939-1940. Exhibition created by the State Secretariat for Defense in
charge of Veterans Affairs, the National Office for Veterans and Victims of War, and with the
participation of the association “Les Fleurs de la Résistance”.
