Chers collègues et amis,
Nous avons le plaisir de vous annoncer la tenue

cours international du CIMM sur
le soutien sanitaire en milieu saharien qui sera
organisé du 13 au 19 novembre 2011 à Tozeur
dans le sud ouest tunisien.
Cette manifestation scientifique permettra de
rassembler des médecins militaires venant du
monde
entier,
avides
d’enrichir
leurs
connaissances scientifiques et d’échanger leurs
expériences sur l’exercice médical réalisé en
milieu saharien afin de
parfaire
leurs
compétences médicales face à des situations
exposant aux
menaces relatives à
un
environnement hostile.
Ce cours sera rehaussé par la présence
d’éminents conférenciers tunisiens et étrangers
et par la contribution de deux laboratoires de
recherche médicale de l’Institut de Pasteur de
Tunis qui s’intéressent à l’écologie parasitaire
de la leishmaniose cutanée et à la sérothérapie
antiscorpionique par le développement de
nanoanticorps.
Nous vous invitons à participer nombreux à ce
cours et nous serons très heureux de vous
accueillir à Tozeur, aux portes du dé sert

We are pleased to announce you the

organization of the 3
ICMM International
Course for Health Support in Saharan
Environment which will be held in Tozeur

(South-west of Tuni sia) from 13
to 19
November 2011.
This scientific event will make possible
gathering military medical officers from all
over the world, avid to enrich their scientific
knowledge and to exchange their experiences
on medical practices carried out in Saharan
environment in order to perfect their medical
competences with situations exposing to
threats in hostile environment.
This course will be raised by the participation
of national and international eminent speakers
and by the contribution of two research
laboratories from Pa steur Institute of Tuni s
dealing with parasitic ecology of the
cutaneous leishmaniasi s and anti scorpionic
serotherapy by developing the nanoanticorps.
We invite you to take part in great number to
thi s course and we will be very happy to
receive you in Tozeur, at the doors of the
Tuni sian desert.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
It includes 3 parts:
I- Theoretic training modules: 5 modules,
including di sease s related to the heat,
disea ses related to the environment, the
scorpion and ophidian’ s envenomation, health
support in Saharan environment and the
cutaneous leishmaniasi s.
In addition to the conferences, clinical cases
and 5 practical workshops will animate this
training. For participants, a training and
initiation
certificate
to
the
cutaneous
leishmaniasis will crown this module.
II- Practical training: in the framework of health
support during operation, a field training
exercise will be conducted with a simulation of
mass ca sualty influx in Saharan environment.
III- Practical workshops about survival in
saharan environment with training relating to
the technique s of survival and workshops
about trapping are programmed.
