3 - CONDITONS SPECIALES POUR UNE UTILISATION SECURISEE / SPECIAL CONDITION FOR SAFE INSTALLATION AND USE

Le matériel pourra être utilisé à une température ambiante limite de
60 °C afin de respecter la classe de température.
Contre les risques de décharge électrostatique, nettoyer le globe à
l’aide d’un chiffon humide, sans utiliser de produit agressif pour la
matière polycarbonate.

Apparatus must be utilized under + 60 °C for respect protection class.
Against the risk from electrostatic discharge, clean the transparent
globe with a damp cloth. Do not use aggressive liquid to clean the
Polycarbonate material.
4 - INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE: se reporter aux normes EN/IEC 60079-14 et EN/IEC 60079-17 /
INSTALLATION/MAINTENANCE: according to standards EN/CEI 60079-14 and EN/CEI 60079-17
L’installation ou autre intervention doivent être effectuées par un
personnel autorisé et formé.
Toutes transformations ou modifications sont interdites et toute utilisation
incorrecte annule la garantie.
Il appartient à l’installateur et/ou l’utilisateur de vérifier si la conception de
la balise et son mode de protection sont compatibles avec les conditions
environnementales et réglementaires du site.

This panel must be installed by authorized (and qualified) personnel only.
Transformation (or modification) of this panel is forbidden and will void all
warranties, expressed or implied.
The installer or user must verify the compatibility (ratings, certification
codes etc.) of the beaconl with the conditions with the environmental and
authorized conditions of the site.
Les installations doivent être inspectées afin de vérifier que les câbles
utilisés sont conformes à la documentation (EN 60079-17 §5.3.6).
Les boulons, vis et parties similaires dont dépend le mode de protection
doivent être remplacés uniquement par des parties similaires conformes
aux indications du constructeur (EN 60079-17 §5.1.1.)
Vérifier la tension d’alimentation (sur étiquette) et sa concordance avec
l’alimentation secteur.
Vérifier régulièrement, au minimum une fois par an, l’état du joint, la
parfaite étanchéité des câbles dans les presses étoupes, des presses
étoupes sur le corps de la balise et retirer les traces d’humidité
éventuelles.
Le transport et le stockage doivent être effectués dans l’emballage
d’origine. Nous recommandons un stockage de nos produits dans un
environnement aéré avec une température stable. Température ambiante
de stockage de -30 ° C à + 80 ° C avec une humidité relative comprise entre
10% et 90%.
The installation must be inspected to verify that the cables used conform
to the documentation (EN 60079-17 §5.3.6.)
Bolts, screws and similar parts of which depends the protection mode
should only be replaced by similar parts conform with the manufacturer
(EN 60079-17 § 5.1.1.)
Check the rating label to ensure that the luminary is suitable for the main
supply.
Check regularly, at least once a year, the gasket, the weatherproofness of
the cable in the cable glands, the cable glands in the beacon and any traces
of moisture.
Transportation and storage must be done within the original packing. We
recommend a storage of our goods into a ventilated environment with
stable temperature. Ambient storage temperature from -30°C to +80°C
with relative humidity from 10% to 90%..
5 – PRESSE ETOUPE ET BOUCHON / CABLE GLAND AND CAP
L’installation des PE et bouchon doit répondre aux exigences de la norme
EN 60079-14 particulièrement le chapitre sur les entrées de câbles.
Le PE et le bouchon doivent être montés avec les filets graissés (graisse
non conductrice) et son joint d’étanchéité.
En atmosphère marine, il est fortement recommandé de couvrir les PE avec
un capuchon afin d’éviter les phénomènes d’électrolyse.
Pour garantir l’étanchéité du raccordement, le serrage du câble dans le PE
doit être assuré efficacement par la garniture du PE.
The cable gland and the cap installation need to require to standards EN
60079-14 mainly chapter on cable entries.
The cable gland and the cap must be mounted into the luminary body with
their threads being greased (nonconductive grease) and its gasket.
In marine environments, it is strongly advised to cover the cable gland with
a shroud to avoid electrolysis phenomenon.
To ensure the weatherproofness of the connection, check the tightening of
the cable with the inner gasket.
6 - Type XFB
6A- OUVERTURE ET ACCES LAMPES / OPENING AND ACCES LAMP

Ne pas ouvrir sous tension.
Dévisser les 3 vis du globe (Vis imperdable CHC M6x20).
Attention : ne pas endommager le joint.
- Dévisser la lampe.
- Dévisser les 3 vis du réflecteur (Vis CL M4x10).
Attention : ne pas perdre les rondelles freins.
Do not open while energized.
Remove the 3 locking screws of the transparent globe (captive screw
M6x20).
Warning: not damage the gasket.
- Remove the lamp.
- Remove the 3 locking screws of the reflector (Screw CL M4x10).
Warning: not lose the lock whashers

6B- RACCORDEMENT AU BORNIER / CONNECTION TO TERMINAL BLOCK
Ne pas ouvrir sous tension.
Enlever le globe, la lampe ainsi que le réflecteur comme indiqué
précédemment.
Raccorder le câble d’alimentation à travers le presse-étoupe au bornier,
raccordez le fil de terre à la borne V/J.
Le luminaire est livré en standard avec un PE ISO M20 – capacité de
serrage diam 8,5 à 16 mm non armé.
Pour garantir l’étanchéité parfaite du produit, il est indispensable de :
1. Vérifier la compatibilité de la garniture du PE avec le diamètre du
câble utilisé. Le serrage de la garniture doit être ferme.
2. S’assurer que le corps du PE et son joint vissé dans le corps est bloqué
et ne tourne pas.
3. S’assurer que le joint du globe est correctement positionné.
4. Serrer fermement les 3 vis de fixation du globe.

Do not open when energized.
Remove the transparent globe, lamp and the reflector as described before.
Connect the wiring cable throught the cable gland to the terminals,
connect the ground wire to G/Y. terminal
The luminaire is provided in standard with one cable gland ISO M20 sealing
range capacity diam. 8,5 to 16 mm for unarmored cable.
To warranty the perfect weatherproofness of the product:
1. Check the compatibility of sealing ring of the cable gland with the
cable diameter, tightening of the sealing ring on the sheath must be
steady.
2. Ensure that the cable gland and its gasket base is correctly screwed
into the body and does not turn.
3. Ensure that the gasket of the cover is correctly positioned.
4. Screw firmly the 3 screws of the transparent globe
7 - Type XFL

Attention : ne pas endommager le joint.
- Tirer la lampe vers le haut au niveau du CI.
Do not open while energized.
Remove the 3 locking screws of the transparent globe (captive
screw M6x20).
Warning: not damage the gasket.
Pull up on PCB lamp to remove it

7B- RACCORDEMENT AU BORNIER / CONNECTION TO TERMINAL BLOCK
Dévisser les 3 vis du CI (Vis CL M4x10).
Attention : ne pas perdre les rondelles freins.
Remove the 3 locking screws of the PCB (Screw CL M4x10).
Warning: not lose the lock whashers
8 – ETANCHEITE/ WEATHERPROOFNESS
Pour préserver le degré d’étanchéité maximum de l’appareil, il est
recommandé de vérifier l’état du joint du globe, et de le changer
périodiquement (2 ans).
S’assurer aussi de la parfaite étanchéité du câble dans le presse-étoupe, et
du presse-étoupe sur le corps de l’appareil.
To ensure the best ingress protection of the enclosure, check the cover
gasket and change it periodically (2 years).
Check also the perfect weatherproofness of the cable in the cable gland,
and the tightening of the cable gland body in the enclosure
9 – POSE DES LAMPES/ LAMPS MOUNTING
Ne monter que des lampes neuves.
Il est fortement conseillé de remplacer systématiquement les lampes
défectueuses ;

Only new lamps should be mounted
It’s strongly advised to systematically replace the defect lamp.
