Welcome Message
Dear Students,
Welcome! We are delighted that you are planning to attend
the 2013 McGill Social Work Career Fair. This annual event brings
employers from across the Montreal region and further afield
to campus to meet students and share information about job,
internship and volunteering opportunities. A diverse range of
institutions and organizations attend, including hospitals, CSSTs,
EAPs, non-profit and community groups. Check out the participant listings below for more details.
To prepare for the Career Fair:
• Ensure your CV is professional and up-to-date (if you could
use some help in this regard, email me to sign up for a slot at
an upcoming CV clinic).
• Read about the participating employers and compile a list
of questions you would like to ask them.
• Be prepared to introduce yourself and answer questions
about your experience and interest in their organization.
• Present yourself professionally: dress the part, turn off your
cell phone and stop at the registration table to get a name tag.
Any questions? My contact information is below.
See you on November 8th!
