(2) Sections 5, 6, 7, 8(1)(a), 9, 10, 11 and 12 do not apply to cheques issued for the payment of money from the bank accounts
authorized in accordance with Section 15(1). The Deputy Head of the department that has requested a bank account shall be
responsible for internal controls and management of the bank account.
(3) Only public officers of the Government of Yukon may sign cheques for the payment of money authorized in accordance
with Section 15(1). Those cheques shall bear the signatures of two public officers. The department that maintains a bank account
shall deliver to the Department of Finance the names and titles of public officers who are authorized to sign for the bank account.
The department shall notify the Department of Finance in writing of any subsequent changes to the names or titles of public
officers within ten working days from the date of the change.
(4) The department that maintains a bank account shall deliver to the Department of Finance the bank reconciliation as at March
31 of every fiscal year and as required. The department shall also provide to the Department of Finance any information on the
bank account as requested.
