3rd French-Israeli Workshop on Foundations of Computer Science 1 Information for participants • WIFI Institut Henri Poincaré (May 20-21) You can use the network IHP0 on the ground floor and the network IHP1234 on the other floors. Passwords will be given in the workshop lecture hall. U. Paris Diderot (May 22) There is no wifi connection in the lecture hall. You can use eduroam on the ground floor. At the LIAFA lounge on the 4th floor, you can use eduroam as well as the networks wguest1 and wguest2. Passwords for wguest1 and wguest2 will be given in the lecture hall. • Working Space Institut Henri Poincaré (May 20-21) In addition the cafeteria on the ground floor, you have, at your disposal, room number 01 (ground floor) as a sitting/working/discussing area. There is also a library on the first floor. Note that the lecture hall will be locked during the lunch breaks. U. Paris Diderot (May 22) You can use the LIAFA lounge on the 4th floor as a sitting/working/discussing area. • Food and Drink Institut Henri Poincaré (May 20-21) There will be two coffee breaks every day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, all of them in the cafeteria of the IHP on the ground floor. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the IHP for lunch. A short list of suggested restaurants is attached. On Wednesday evening (May 21) there will be a reception (with food !). The reception will take place on the ground floor of the IHP. U. Paris Diderot (May 22) There will be a coffee break in the morning at the LIAFA lounge on the 4th floor. In the afternoon, at the end of the workshop, there will be a gathering with cakes and coffee at the LIAFA lounge on the 4th floor. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes around the campus for lunch. These recommendations were collected from various sources (i.e., colleagues...). Prices should be more or less accurate but maybe a bit outdated. Prêt à Manger - 110 Avenue de France • For a sandwich (tables on the premises; all quite good): 1. Presse Café (Sandwich and soup/salad) - 12 Rue Thomas Man 2. La Boulangerie (Sandwiches, salads, quiche,...) - 56 rue du Chevaleret 3. L’Arobase (Bagel and soup/salad) - 101 Rue du Chevaleret • Other informal places: 1. Ang (pan-asian: ramen, bento, bubble tea) - 48 rue du Chevaleret 2. Yuman (locally sourced, organic, somewhat more expensive) - 70, rue du Chevaleret • Sit-down restaurants a bit further by foot (the last 3 are somewhat more expensive): 1. Tempero (14 Euros, lunch only, requires reservation. Food is outstanding.) - 5 rue Clisson 2. Café Bibliothèque - 160 Avenue de France 3. La Maison des Frigos (about 20 Euros) - 19, rue des Frigos 4. La Zygotheque - 15 Rue de Tolbiac • Chinatown is 10 minutes away by bus/tram. There are many places to choose from including: 1. Tricotin (a big noisy place to eat noodles and dumplings) - 15 Avenue de Choisy (tram from the end of Avenue de France to stop porte de Choisy) 2.
