Career
2003-. Senior Researcher (since 2011), Modern Greek History Research Centre, Academy of
Athens. In the Centre she participates at the Programme “ Ionian Biographies” and she works
on the research plan “Aspects and perceptions of the Ionian rural and urban territory”.
2008-. External Researcher in the Centre of Culture, Research and Documentation Bank of
Greece.
2001-2011. Tutor, Hellenic Open University. Courses : Social and Economic History of Europe
(2001-2003, 2006-2011) & History of Europe(2002-2006.)
1999-2004. Associate researcher in the Hellenic Bank Association, keeping a permanent
column on the subject of banking and numismatic history at the Association’s Bulletin.
During her doctoral studies, she participated in research projects supported by the Historical
Archives of the Agricultural Bank and the Historical Archives of National Bank. She had also
work as an archivist at the Archives of the Bank of Greece (2000-2001).
She has published various articles on Modern Greek Economic and Social History and she has
participated at international congresses, were she had also organised and/or co-organised
specialised sessions, mainly on the subject of cooperative institutions. Since 2014 she is an
Affiliated Researcher at LaDéHis -CRH/EHESS, were she participates in the collective project «
Politiques et statistiques économiques des institutions internationales durant
l’entre-deux-guerres » [http://ladehis.ehess.fr/index.php?564]. She is a member of the
Association Française d’Histoire Economique and she had organised various sessions in
international conferences of economic and business history, mainly on the topics of European
Monetary History and comparative research on cooperative institutions.
