APPLICATION
These single-inlet centrifugal fans are equipped with impulse impellers (backwards included blades). They are designed to handle
high flows at low and medium pressures.
F400 Homologated in accordance with standard EN 12101-3 (CTICM homologation no. CE 1166-CPD-0079), they are suitable for
fume-extraction of car parks or service areas.
DESCRIPTION
The casings, made of pre-galvanised sheet steel, are equipped with a connection sleeve at the inlet and a flange at the discharge.
The paint-finished steel impeller is statically and dynamically balanced and classified as G6.3 in accordance with standard ISO 1940.
The motors supplied as standard have, depending on the application, 230/400V or 400/690V supply voltages. IP55 degree of
protection. Temperature class F.
The bearings are equipped with self-aligning ball-bearings with eccentric ring shaft locking and have a design working life of
approximately 40,000 hours in standard operation (other than fume extraction).
A transmission protection housing (pre-galvanised panels and electro-zinc grille) is supplied as standard.
Housed in a metal angle-bar frame, the casings are positioned in 4 orientations (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) each available
directions of rotation: clockwise and anti-clockwise (see next page. § “Orientations – Direction of rotation”).

ORIENTATION – DIRECTION OF ROTATION
REMINDER ABOUT ORIENTATIONS
For centrifugal fans, whether with single or double inlets at the suction side, the convention states that orientations take the motor
side (direct action) or transmission side as a reference.
If the impeller rotates in the clockwise direction (or “to the right”) its direction will be RD; if it rotates in the anti-clockwise direction its
direction will be LG.

FLEXIBLE SLEEVE AT AIR INTAKE
The equipment is supplied equipped with a companion flange at the inlet
whose diameter matches that of the impeller (model size) to receive the
textile F400 approved connection sleeve, fixed using a supplied collar.

fan frame alone, chassis mounting is preferred.
This configuration is restricted to standard applications excluding
fume extraction.
