Improvement of mechanical properties in
bioplastics. (Ref. 11 ES 27F3 3KTB)
An Andalusian company having 25 years of experience
in masterbatches manufacture has developed a method
to add new additives to polylactic acid for improving its
mechanical properties. The best advantages are the
reduction of costs and that the process is suitable for a
wide range of new characteristics. The company seeks
to transfer the technology through entering into license
agreement.
Direct Moulding of Thermoplastic small and
Micro-Parts (Ref. 11 IT 55X8 3L77)
An Italian university research team has designed and
fabricated two innovative moulding machines to directly
mould small parts and micro-parts made of
thermoplastic materials. In the first case more pellets
are moulded in a transparent mould, in the second case
a single pellet or a portion of it is moulded by means of
a diode laser. The team is looking for technical
cooperation agreement - testing new applications.
Innovative drying, dosing and preheating of
thermoplastics, granules, grain and wood chip (Ref.
11 SE 672F 3KV0)
A Swedish SME offers a high speed technology for
efficient drying of free-flowing bulk materials, grain,
powder, wood chip and other granules including
pharmaceutical dittos.

The simple, environmentally friendly and innovative
drying concept provides a result with good quality,
increases productivity for the user and can provide
significant time-and energy savings. The company
seeks licences, joint venture or technical cooperation
agreements with partners within the fields mentioned.
Innovative tribological surface treatments for
especially moulds. (Ref. 10 DK 20B3 3GVV)
A Danish SME specialised in advanced surface
treatment of tools, components and wearing parts offers
solutions to tribological problems in these areas. They
are specialised in mould surface treatments - more and
shorter cycles. Their solutions include hard, hardwearing, corrosion-resistant and self-lubricating
coatings. The company is interested in commercial
agreements with technical assistance. Manufacturing
(surface treatment) as well as installation of production
equipment are possible.

Expertise in fire retardant additives and solutions

A Dutch company is specialized in the development and
production of foamed plastic materials for general
industrial use and also in the aviation, automotive and
building sector. The company is world market leader in
many applications and produces its own basic
materials. The company is interested in contacts with
partners that are active in development or production of
fire retardant additives and new solutions for foamed
plastic materials.
Technology for contactless polyethylene film

A Turkish company is looking for a technology providing
contactless polyethylene film welding to be used in
packaging processes. Preferably, technology shall be
already in market. Company is looking for a commercial
agreement with technical assistance.
Thin coating layer with heat-conductive
properties for a board made of plastic (Ref. 09 CZ
0744 3FZ3)
A Czech SME is looking for a material or a coating
technology, which will cover non-conductive plastic
grooved boards with thin heat-conductive layer in order
to distribute the heat evenly. The thickness of layer
should not exceed 1, 5 mm. The plastic board with
coating will be used as a base for floor heating. The
coating technology must be at a competitive price and
already on the market. The company seeks commercial
agreement with technical cooperation.
Bioplastic made of renewable fibres and organic
polymers for commodity goods and car body parts

A regional manufacturing and industrial network looks for
competences, technologies and patents in bioplastic to
produce household appliances made of organic
polymers and car body parts based on fibre-reinforced
plastics. The sought technologies and patents should be
close to production and market. Production will be in
Switzerland on a regional basis for the Swiss market.
Different types of cooperation can be considered.
Blow, Injection & Rotation Mould Specialists
Sought to Develop Spherical Digital Displays (Ref. 10
GB 46P4 3I92)
Scottish SME is seeking plastic mould manufacturers
who are able to blow mould, injection mould or
rotationally mould seamless spheres of 600mm-900mm
in diameter. The spheres are made from acrylic or
polycarbonate and contain an opening of 215mm up to
240mm in diameter. The spheres are then coated
internally to create spherical digital displays for use in a
myriad of commercial and artistic projects. The
company seeks a sub-contract manufacturing
agreement, perhaps with technical assistance.
PROJET COLLABORATIF EUROPEEN
PS: FP7-SME-2011 - Glass Reinforced Plastic
Partners (Ref. 10 GB 77dz 3IVU)
A UK University seeks partners involved in industrial
roofing and specifically industries using glass-reinforced
polyester (GRP) for an FP7 funding application under
the current Research for SMEs call. The project goal is
to analyse the particular properties of these ground
composites, in order to identify new possible
applications form the waste stream. They specifically
seek GRP manufacturers operating in the roofing and
lighting sector, or the automotive sector and GRP end
users.
