Beginning June 2013, this table includes discount rates only, i.e. the interest rate
at which the central bank lends to commercial banks to meet their liquidity needs.
Prior to the change in coverage in this table, the central bank policy rate (CBPR)
had been shown, which in some countries is the discount rate while in others it
may be a repurchase agreement rate.
Note:
A partir de juin 2013, ce tableau n’inclut que les taux d’escompte i.e. le taux
d'intérêt auquel la banque centrale prête aux banques commerciales afin de
répondre à leurs besoins de liquidités. Avant la modification de son champ, ce
tableau présentait les taux directeur des banques centrales, qui dans certains
pays correspond au taux d'escompte alors que dans d'autres, il peut s'agir du
taux des opérations de pensions.
