CONCERT ORGANIZER TO PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING STAGE EQUIPMENT
BACKLINE:
DRUMS:
- 1 bass drum (18’) with white Remo ambassador drumhead (full resonance)
- 1 alto tam-tam (12’) mounted on the bass drum, white Remo ambassador drumhead
- 1 bass tam-tam (14’) on a stand, white Remo ambassador drumhead
- 1 snare (5.5’) with white Remo ambassador drumhead
- 4 cymbal stands, three with rods
- 1 Charleston stand (direct system)
- 1 snare stand
- 1 adjustable and stable drum throne
- 1 drum mat
PERCUSSION: Musician will come with all equipment.
Upright bass: Sylvain
- 1 bass amplifier: Mark-bass or Bass-Combo AER
- 1 music stand
PIANO:
- 1 concert piano (will be played fully open)
The piano should be tuned to the Rhodes stage piano – please plan on tuning upon delivery and
before the concert if needed
- 1 Fender Rhodes Stage Piano
The Fender Rhodes may be replaced by a synthesizer with a Rhodes program, and in certain
precise, exceptional cases the concert piano may also be replaced by an upright or electric piano,
but these changes must be authorized by a signed agreement from Gaya Music Production. In
case of non-respect, contract will be considered null and void.

SOUND
1 / PLACEMENT:
The FOH sound mixing console must be placed in the middle of the concert hall (maximum
depth underneath the beginning of the balcony) and will be dressed with a black cloth (or a
cloth of the same color as the seats in the hall).
2 / HALL SOUND LEVELS:
The sound levels should be appropriate for the concert hall, but the minimum level must be 2
KW (Meyer, Heil, Nexo....), and no hard system.
We strongly advise the use of delays + EQ filters for a full sound diffusion (to balconies, etc.)
3 / FOH CONSOLE:
24 pathways: CL5 or M7CL, Midas…
4 / TRAFFIC: (Unless using a digital console)
Two 31-band equalizers: BSS or KLARK TECHNIC, and a delay on L/R is necessary.
31-band delays and equalizers per speaker if there is multi diffusion: BSS or KLARK
TECHNIC.
5 / EFFECTS Console: (Unless using digital console)
A TC M2000 or TC M3000, a PCM 91 or Spx 990.
6 / RECORDING:
One L/R output using XLR connector
7 / INTERCOM:
Necessary to have an intercom between the mixing console, the stage and lighting
box/operators.
8 / MIXING MONITOR: Done from FOH except in festivals
9 / MONITORS FOR EQUALIZERS:
3 graphics - Two 31-band BSS or KLARK TECHNIC (5 circuits).

SET-UP
All sound, stage and lighting equipment must be cabled and ready to use upon the arrival of the
artists and/or technical managers.
Please plan for one hour of sound, FOH and monitor adjustment BEFORE the musicians’
scheduled sound checks.
SOUND CHECK
During the sound check the hall must be absolutely quiet and no public entry must be made into
the house. The definitive lights adjustments will be made following this sound check, which will last
approximately one hour.
LIGHTING
Your lighting designer will be responsible for the show’s stage lighting.
IMPORTANT:
Please plan to create warm lighting in some stage areas, and general moods in others. We will not
be using spots.
MISCELLANEOUS
DRESSING ROOMS:
The musicians thank you in advance for providing:
- Two heated, lockable dressing rooms, containing a table, chairs, a clothes rack and a mirror.
- Refreshments and catering (for example - coffee, tea, milk, still and sparkling water, wine, beer,
fruit, cookies, savory pies such as quiche).
- The musicians would like to have, if possible, two bottles of good wine – local if possible – before
the concert.
- 1 ironing board with iron
IMPORTANT:
Onstage, 5 small towels, 12 small water bottles.
TRANSPORTATION:
The musicians will arrive by train or by plane and will have a fair amount of luggage (an upright
bass, etc…)
Please plan to come and pick them up at the train platform or in the airport at the arrival gate and
plan to have the appropriate vehicles to transport them to the destination. The same is true for the
departure.
