What we have done…
P1
In P1 we worked on clothes and colors, we dressed up several people according to the weather and we
revised all the colors! After that we learned a lot of animal’s name and we did a lot of activities to learn
how to describe and recognise them. We strongly encourage you to see the support section to sing
songs we learned!
P2
In P2 we worked on clothes and colors, we dressed up several people according to the weather and we
revised all the colors! We wrote few sentences in order to describe a person and we played a lot at
guess who . After that we learned a lot of animal’s name and we did a lot of activities to learn how to
describe and recognise them. We classified them as well in different categories (herbivore, carnivore,
dangereux…). Pupils started to do presentation in class about their favourite animal.
P3/4
Ce mois-ci nous avons travaillé sur le thème de la famille, nous avons comparé différentes familles et
nous avons commencé à lire de longs textes et à répondre à des questions concernant ce texte (les
nouveaux pères). Les élèves ont présenté leur famille et ont essayé de remonter le plus loin possible !
Nous avons ensuite travaillé sur le thème de la musique, des rythmes et des instruments. Nous avons
appris à parler et à décrire notre style de musique ou notre chanteur/groupe préféré. Nous avons
également découvert plusieurs artistes francophones à travers leurs chansons (voir liste en section

P5
Some pupils started French only in P5 (August and January) therefore topics stays the same but
approach is different.
En classe de P5 nous avons travaillé sur le thème de la santé et du bien-être. Les élèves ont travaillé
sur de longs textes et ont dû répondre à différentes questions complexes concernant ces textes. Nous
avons également travaillé sur beaucoup de documents audio afin d’améliorer la compétence de
compréhension orale.
