The DAK health insurance honours the Klinik im Alpenpark for its top quality
The Klinik im Alpenpark is one of the best clinics in Bavaria: in a survey conducted by the DAK health insurance, 96 percent of the patients at the Alpenpark Clinic said they would recommend the clinic due to the
clinic’s quality of treatment, services offered and the personnel.

During a celebration, the Head of the DAK-Gesundheit in Bad Tölz, Stefan Kanwischer, together with the Deputy Head
of Contracts for Bavaria, Rainer Blasutto, presented the Managing Director of the Klinik im Alpenpark Ursual Klitzsch
with the Certificate for Top Quality („Urkunde für Spitzenqualität“). The Klinik im Alpenpark has been working tightly
together with the DAK specialist network since 2004 to optimise treatment results for patients.
The clinic´s experts develop a treatment plan and tailor it to exactly fit the needs of the patient. „The Klinik im Alpenpark offers modern medicine combined with perfect organisation,“ said Kanwischer. The patients honoured this commitment with the results of the survey.
„We are very pleased to receive this award from DAK-Gesundheit for our medical services and our patient service,“
said Ursula Klitzsch. „The award is a motivation for my employees to maintain the top position in Bavaria.“
The Klinik im Alpenpark is specialised in the follow-up treatment in cardiology, gastroenterology and orthopaedics.
This is the treatment following major surgery such as heart attacks, major abdominal surgery or following hip and knee
replacements, for example. Treatment is based on the latest scientific evidence and involves state-of-the-art methods
and therapy approaches. It aims to ease patients’ symptoms in the long-term and give them a new source of strength.
Highly-qualified and experienced specialists for medicine, allied health and nursing work together in the Klinik im Alpenpark with a holistic, interdisciplinary treatment approach.
Since its founding in 1962 as „Alpensanatorium“, the Klinik im Alpenpark (renamed in 1984) is the only clinic in the region that has remained under
the same management. Ludwig and Ursula Klitzsch head the family-run private clinic as managing directors in the third generation. The clinic is
specialised in the follow-up treatment and rehabilitation of: musculoskeletal diseases, cardiovascular diseases and gastrointestinal diseases.
