Modular ATPL Training Requirements Training Training Objective Acquisition of the license CPL(A)/IR MEP + MCC + ATPL(A) Theory Credit acc. to EASA Part-FCL Positive GAPF-Test (Gesellschaft für Angewandte Psychologische Forschung) in Wuerzburg, Germany or Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines or Turkish Airlines or Condor Basic Professional Examination (Berufsgrunduntersuchung, BU) at the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR) in Hamburg ICAO PPL(A) ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 EASA Class 1 Medical (issued by a certified Aeromedical Center) Flying Experience Obligatory at the beginning of the training: Min. 70 flight hours as a pilot in command (SPIC/PIC) Recommendation at the beginning of the training: 150 flight hours, of which 100 are flight hours as a pilot in command (SPIC/PIC) Costs Single payment Down payment + 10 monthly rates of 2,000 EUR Financing possible 49,320 EUR 30,000 EUR + 20,000 EUR Official Exams Theoretical and practical Radio Telephony skill tests Theoretical ATPL(A) at the German Civil Aviation Authority and CPL(A)/IR skill test Training Schedule ATPL Theory Phase Flight Phase MCC ATPL Theory Frankfurt 38 weeks Flight Modules Rostock-Laage 14 weeks Simulator Training Frankfurt/Berlin 1 week Flight Hours Within the framework of the flight modules PTN-standardization, night, MEP, IR and CPL 113:55 flight hours on a modern fleet : 41:40 hours on FNPT II (Flight Navigation Procedure Trainer) 36 hours on twin-engine (Piper PA-44) 16:15 hours on single engine aircraft (Diamond DA20/DA40) 20 hours Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) on a Full Flight Simulator Theory Hours Within the framework of theory training at least 650 hours of theory At least 36 hours for briefing during the flight phase 35,5 hours of MCC preparation Language Course documentation and communication in English Services The training program includes: all takeoff-, landing- and airway fees, all flight hours, theoretical training and courseware, Computer Based Training, CRP5 aviation calculator, navigation plotter, all maps, calculator, uniform, pilot case, flight logbook, accident insurance, Operations Manual and Training Manual (loan).
