HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY REIMBURSEMENT ?
• Pick a doctor who will become your primary doctor (fill out the document from this doctor).
• Pay (normal visit 23 €) :
- If you have a “carte vitale” (There is a waiting period after arrival) > the reimbursement
will be automatic.
- If you do not have a “carte vitale” > you will need to send the papers from the doctor
and the pharmacy to your healthcare center.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE AND LEAVE ?
• I don’t have a financial guarantor...
- Return 3 copies of the house rules folder (“règlement intérieur valant acte d’engagement”)
- Pay your first month’s rent (and the security deposit if not paid before arrival)
- Find a Financial guarantor (if you do not have one, consult the CLÉ (“Caution Locative
Étudiante”) : www.lokaviz.fr)
- Do the room inventory
- Set up your electricity meter with EDF if you are housed in a studio or T1: particuliers.edf.com
- Get in touch with the a volunteer in civic service who will be helping you (see the secretary’s office)
- Take out multi-risk renter’s insurance
- Open a bank account
- Put together a folder for renter’s assistance through the CAF : www.caf.fr
- Return proof of enrollment from the “scolarité” to the secretary’s office as soon as you
are enrolled
How to insure your housing and receive a certificate of multi-risk insurance : Here is a nonexhaustive list of agencies that can insure your housing. To do so, you will need you proof
of housing (“attestation d’hébergement”) with the exact address.

You can open a bank account either through the post office or with a bank (note : banks
are closed on Mondays). Either will provide your detailed bank information (“un RIB”).

Pour assurer votre logement et obtenir une multirisque habitation. Voici une liste non
exhaustive d’agences pouvant assurer votre logement, pour cela munissez-vous de votre
attestation d’hébergement avec l’adresse exacte.

• I want to use my “Atout Centre” card...
It is your student card. It will allow you to pay for your meals in the CROUS restauration
places (3,25 € for a full meal, price 2015-16). It’s easy to reload : Just go to the CROUS website and click on “Restauration”.
• I feel isolated in my housing unit...
The CROUS and the university offer various activities :
- subscribe to the PAC or PCE through the university’s cultural services
- participate in residence and restaurant evenings
- get in touch with a volunteer in civic service
- get involved with sports through the university (www.univ-tours.fr ; www.univ-orleans.fr)
• I’m having difficulties...
Quelle qu’en soit la raison vous devez informer par écrit la résidence de votre départ 1 mois
avant celui-ci et fixer la date de votre état des lieux de départ.
• Ouvrir un compte bancaire
Vous pouvez ouvrir un compte bancaire soit à la banque postale soit dans une agence bancaire (attention elles sont fermées le lundi), la banque doit vous remettre un RIB (relevé
d’identité bancaire).

- ORLÉANS : vous en trouverez Rue de la République et aux alentours

The eligibility conditions for a social scholarship in France are as follows :
« Have French nationality or have the nationality of any European Union member state
(or of any state belonging to the European Economic Area). For all other nationalities, the
student must hold a valid residency permit, have lived in France for at least two years
and their fiscal residence (father, mother, legal guardian) must be located in France for a
minimum of two years. »
If you are eligible for a social scholarship, you must put together a folder DSE on the CROUS
website from January 15.

A new system has been put in place : “la CLÉ (Caution Locative Étudiante)”. To use this
service, you must consult the conditions on lokaviz’s website (www.lokaviz.fr). If you receive a scholarship from your home country, the “attestation de prise en charge” may be
taken into account.
No matter the reason for your departure, you must inform your residence in writing one
month before your departure and set up a date and time to do your final room inventory.

C’est votre carte d’étudiant, elle sert également à payer vos repas dans les espaces de
restauration du CROUS (3,25 € pour un repas complet, prix 2015-16). C'est simple de la
recharger, il suffit d’aller sur le site web du CROUS (rubrique restauration).
• Je me sens isolé(e) dans ma résidence...
Le CROUS et l’université propose des activités diverses :
- Souscrivez au PAC ou au PCE auprès du service culturel de l’université
- Participez aux soirées dans les résidences, dans les restaurants
- Rapprochez-vous d'un volontaire en service civique
- Pratiquez un sport avec le service universitaire (univ-tours.fr ; univ-orleans.fr)

Les conditions pour bénéficier d'une bourse sur critères sociaux en France sont les suivantes :
« Être de nationalité française ou posséder la nationalité d’un État membre de l’Union européenne (ou d’un État faisant partie de l’espace économique européen). Pour les autres
nationalités, l’étudiant doit bénéficier d’un titre de séjour en règle, être domicilié en France
depuis au moins deux ans et le foyer fiscal auquel il est rattaché (père, mère ou tuteur
légal) doit être situé en France depuis au moins deux ans. »
Si vous remplissez les conditions pour bénéficier d’une bourse sur critère sociaux vous
devez constituer un DSE sur le site internet du CROUS à compter du 15 janvier.
