ART. 1 - ORGANISATIE.
De 51ste “Brabantse Pijl” wordt georganiseerd door de vzw “wsc Rode Sportief” (Krommeweg, 31 B-1640 Sint-Genesius-Rode - België). • Deze internationale koers wordt gereden volgens de reglementen
van de Internationale Wielerunie. • De wedstrijd vindt plaats op woensdag 13 april 2011.
ART. 2 - TYPE WEDSTRIJD.
De wedstrijd is voorbehouden aan atleten uit de categorie Heren Elite en Elite -23 jaar. Ze is ingeschreven op de U.C.I.-kalender U.C.I. Europe Tour (Continentale kalender). • De wedstrijd is geklasseerd
in klasse 1.HC. Volgens het U.C.I.-reglement kent ze volgende punten toe voor het U.C.I.-klassement
Continentaal Heren Elites : eindrangschikking bij ééndagswedstrijden : 1) 100 • 2) 70 • 3) 40 • 4) 30 • 5)
25 • 6) 20 • 7) 15 • 8) 10 • 9) 9 • 10) 8 • 11) 7 • 12) 6 • 13) 5 • 14) 4 en 15) 3 punten. Deze wedstrijd geldt eveneens
voor het ploegenklassement en het klassement per natie voor de Continental Europe Tour.
ART. 3 - DEELNAME.
Volgens artikel 2.1.005 van het U.C.I.-reglement is de wedstrijd open voor volgende ploegen : U.C.I. ProTeams (max. 80%), Professionnele Continentale U.C.I.-ploegen, Continentale U.C.I.-ploegen uit België
en de nationale ploeg uit België. • Volgens artikel 2.2.003 van het U.C.I.-reglement is het aantal renners
per ploeg bepaald op minimum 5 en maximum 8 renners.
ART. 4 - PERMANENCE.
De permanence aan de start vindt plaats op dinsdag 12 april 2011, van 15.00 tot 17.00 uur en op woensdag 13 april 2011 van 10.00 tot 11.45 uur, in de “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 - 3000
Leuven, tel. +32-(0)475-490.129. • De bevestiging van de startende renners en de uitreiking van de rugnummers aan de verantwoordelijken der ploegen vindt plaats in de permanence van 15.00 uur tot 16.45
uur, op dinsdag 12 april 2011. • De vergadering met de Sportbestuurders, georganiseerd volgens artikel
1.2.087 van het U.C.I.-reglement, in bijzijn van het College van Commissarissen, heeft plaats om 17.00
uur, op dinsdag 12 april 2011, en dit eveneens in de “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 - 3000
Leuven. • De permanence aan de aankomst vindt plaats op woensdag 13 april 2011, vanaf 11.00 uur in
het Sint-Martinuscollege, Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse.
ART. 5 - RADIO-TOUR.
De wedstrijdinformatie wordt uitgezonden op golf-frekwentie “Radio-Tour” op 164.510 MHz, verzorgd
door de Koninklijke Belgische Wielrijdersbond.
ART. 6 - NEUTRALE TECHNISCHE ASSISTENTIE.
De neutrale technische assistentie wordt verzekerd door Libema Service Support. Deze dienst is verzorgd door 3 neutrale wagens en 1 neutrale moto.
ART. 7 - TIJDSLIMIET.
Elke renner, die buiten de tijdslimiet van 5% achterstand op de tijd van de winnaar aankomt, zal niet
meer geklasseerd worden. De tijdslimiet kan door het College van Commissarissen, in samenspraak
met de Organisator, verhoogd worden in geval van uitzonderlijke omstandigheden.
ART. 8 - RANGSCHIKKINGEN - BONIFICATIES.
De volgende rangschikking zal opgemaakt worden : de individuele eindrangschikking volgens de
volgorde van het overschrijden van de aankomstlijn op het einde van de laatste lokale ronde. De rangschikking bepaalt de toekenning van de prijzen en de punten. Er zijn geen andere rangschikkingen of
bonificaties.
ART. 9 - PRIJZEN.
Volgende prijzen worden toegekend op basis van de prijzenverdeling Heren Elite 1.HC UCI :

Het totaal bedrag aan prijzen betreffende deze wedstrijd is 18800 Euro. Deze prijzen worden uitbetaald
via de Koninklijke Belgische Wielrijdersbond, aan wie de organisatie het volledige bedrag heeft gestort.
ART. 10 - ANTI-DOPINGCONTROLE.
Het anti-dopingreglement van de UCI is volledig van toepassing op deze wedstrijd. Bovendien past
zich de Belgische anti-dopingwetgeving toe, conform aan de wetsvoorschriften van België en volgens
de antidopingswetgeving van het Vlaamse Gewest. • De anti-dopingcontrole vindt plaats in het SintMartinuscollege (niveau +1), Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse.
ART. 11 - PROTOCOL.
Volgens artikel 1.2.112 van het U.C.I.-reglement dienen volgende renners zich voor het protocol aan te
bieden: de eerste drie geklasseerde renners van de wedstrijd. Ze zullen zich aanbieden in een maximale
termijn van 5 minuten na hun aankomst.
ART. 12 - STRAFFEN.
Het straffenbarema van de U.C.I. is het enige dat van toepassing is.

MEDISCHE DIENST.
De medische dienst wordt geleid door Dr. W. Jacobs. In wedstrijd wordt de medische dienst verzorgd door:
1) onmiddellijk na de officiële wagen K.B.W.B.1 zal een wagen volgen met de eerste Wedstrijddokter Dr.
W. Jacobs; 2) de wagen, met Wedstrijddokter Dr. J. Van Lierde, zal onmiddellijk na K.B.W.B.4 volgen; 3) er
zullen twee ziekenwagens van het “Rode Kruis” Vlaams-Brabant de wedstrijd achteraan volgen; 4) aan de
aankomst voorziet het “Rode Kruis” Vlaams-Brabant een hulppost, die de nodige zorgen kan verstrekken.
PARKING TEAMS “START”.
Een parking voor de renners en hun technische assistentie is voorbehouden op het Ladeuzeplein,
het Herbert Hooverplein en het Erasmusplein te Leuven. • Een parking voor de Sportbestuurders is
voorbehouden op het binnenplein van de “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 - 3000 Leuven,
uitsluitend op dinsdag 12 april.
KLEEDKAMER “START”.
Aan het vertrek zijn er in de “Sporthal Rijschool”, Rijschoolstraat 21 - 3000 Leuven, kleedkamers voorzien voor de renners die zich daar wensen om te kleden.
VERZAMELING EN START.
11.15 - 12.15 uur : de renners tekenen het controleblad op het vertrek-podium (Grote Markt te Leuven).
11.45 uur : naamafroeping van de renners, per ploeg.
12.15 uur : opstelling wagens Sportbestuurders in volgorde lottrekking, op de Bondgenotenlaan.
12.30 uur : vertrek in stoet ter hoogte van het Stadhuis, Grote Markt te Leuven.
12.37 uur : officiële vliegende start aan bord 0 KM.
Bij politiebevel dienen alle wagens die de wedstrijd voorafgaan (volgers en pers) te parkeren voorbij de
vertreklijn. In verband met de vereiste ordemaatregelen; om een maximale veiligheid te geven aan de
renners en om de Sportbestuurders in de beste omstandigheden hun werk te laten uitoefenen, moeten
alle volgwagens achter het peloton op één rij rechts van de weg rijden.
BEVOORRADINGEN.
De bevoorradingszone is gevestigd op de Terhulpensesteenweg te Overijse : tussen borden “begin
bevoorrading” & “borden einde bevoorrading”, op het einde van de grote ronde en in elke lokale ronde
behalve de laatste.
OVERWEGEN.
Op de wegwijzer van “De Brabantse Pijl” 2011 bevinden zich geen overwegen.
BORDEN EN SPANDOEKEN.
Spandoek “START” aan het vertrek in stoet. Borden aan km nul (reële start), aan de 50ste km en op 20,
3 en 2 km van de aankomst. De rode vlag op 1 km van de aankomst en borden op 500m, 300m, 200m,
150m, 100m en 50m van de aankomstlijn. • Boven de aankomstlijn bevindt zich het aankomstportiek
“AANKOMST”. • Borden begin en einde bevoorrading. • Geen enkel spandoek zal over de weg gehangen worden tussen de rode driehoek en de aankomstlijn. • Aan de aankomstlijn is er een bord met het
aantal nog te rijden ronden. • De renners moeten 5 plaatselijke ronden afleggen.
AANKOMST.
Afstand : van Leuven tot Overijse : 136,9 km + 5 lokale ronden van 12,7 km = 200,4 km.
Aankomst op de Brusselsesteenweg te Overijse. Afleiding ploegen, perswagens en volgers : aan de top
van de Schavei, vóór de Brandweer, links via een verbindingsweg naar de Drogenberg.
OPGAVEN.
Elke renner die opgeeft moet zijn rugnummer overhandigen aan de commissaris, die zich in een
KBWB-wagen bevindt.
PERMANENCE “AANKOMST”.
De permanence “Aankomst”, voorbehouden aan Officiëlen en Persdienst, is ondergebracht in de gebouwen van het Sint-Martinuscollege, Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse, tel. +32-(0)475.26.89.93 & tel.

PARKING TEAMS VERZORGERS “AANKOMST”.
Een parking voor de ploegen is voorbehouden in de straat “Drogenberg” (aan de kant tegenover de huizen)
VOLGERS.
Alle volgers dienen over een officiëel volgbewijs te beschikken. De Koersdirecteur zal de personen en/
of auto’s, die niet over de nodige volgbewijzen beschikken of die met andere volgbewijzen rijden dan
met diegene hen door de organisatie toegewezen, uit koers zetten. • Noch de Koersdirectie, noch de
Organisatie wsc Rode Sportief kan verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor eventuele ongevallen vóór,
tijdens en na “De Brabantse Pijl”. De chauffeur van een volgwagen is steeds zelf verantwoordelijk voor
z’n gedrag en daden.
PARKING PERS EN VOLGERS “AANKOMST”.
De Parking vooraan aan het Sint-Martinuscollege is voorbehouden voor de pers, en de Parking voorbehouden voor de volgers en de organisatie bevindt zich naast het sportterrein van het Sint-Martinuscollege. Ingang van beide parkings via de Drogenberg.
KLEEDKAMERS EN PARKING TEAMS “AANKOMST”.
Er zijn kleedkamers voor de renners voorzien in het Begijnhofstadion (Tempo Overijse), Begijnhof 3090 Overijse. De cars en wagens van de teams kunnen parkeren op het Begijnhof.
BEGELEIDING VAN DE WINNAAR.
Na de aankomst van de wedstrijd begeleidt de Organisatie de winnaar eerst naar het flashinterview,
dan naar het podium voor de protocolaire huldiging en vervolgens naar de TV-commentatoren voor de
interviews. Nadien wordt mede met een commissaris de winnaar begeleidt naar de perszaal (max. 20
minuten) en naar de anti-dopingcontrole, om tenslotte te verschijnen op de receptie met de aanwezige
sponsors en VIP’s.
OVEREENKOMST SPORTGROEPEN.
Elke onthouding van een Sportgroep onder contract, zal worden bestraft met een boete zoals voorzien
in de U.C.I.-reglementering.
GESCHILLEN.
Bij eventuele geschillen is alleen een Belgische rechtbank bevoegd.

L’épreuve est réservée aux athlètes de la catégorie Hommes Elite et Elite -23 ans. Elle est inscrite au
calendrier U.C.I. Europe Tour (Calendrier Continental). • L’épreuve est classée en classe 1.HC. Conformément au règlement U.C.I., elle attribue les points suivants pour le classement U.C.I. Continental
Hommes Elite : classement final des épreuves d’une journée : 1) 100 • 2) 70 • 3) 40 • 4) 30 • 5) 25 • 6) 20 •
7) 15 • 8) 10 • 9) 9 • 10) 8 • 11) 7 • 12) 6 • 13) 5 • 14) 4 et 15) 3 points. Cette épreuve compte également pour le
classement par équipes et le classement par nation du Continental Europe Tour.
ART. 3 - PARTICIPATION.
Conformément à l’article 2.1.005 du règlement U.C.I., l’épreuve est ouverte aux équipes suivantes :
U.C.I. ProTeams (max. 80%), équipes continentales professionnelles U.C.I., équipes continentales U.C.I.
belges et l’équipe nationale belge. • Conformément à l’article 2.2.003 du règlement U.C.I., le nombre de
coureurs par équipe est de minimum 5 et de maximum 8 coureurs.
ART. 4 - PERMANENCE.
La permanence de départ se tient, le mardi 12 avril 2011 de 15,00 heures à 17,00 heures et le mercredi 13
avril 2011 de 10,00 heures à 11,45 heures, à la “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 - 3000 Leuven,

Le service d’assistance technique neutre est assuré par Libema Service Support. Ce service est assuré
au moyen de 3 voitures neutres et 1 moto neutre.
ART. 7 - DELAIS D’ARRIVEE.
Tout coureur arrivant dans un délai dépassant 5% du temps du vainqueur n’est plus retenu au classement. Le délai peut être augmenté en cas de circonstances exceptionnelles par le Collège des Commissaires, en consultation avec l’organisateur.
ART. 8 - CLASSEMENTS - BONIFICATIONS.
Le classement suivant sera établi : le classement individuel suivant l’ordre de passage sur la ligne d’arrivée à la fin du dernier circuit local. Le classement détermine l’attribution des prix et des points. Il n’y a
pas d’autres classements ou bonifications.
ART. 9 - PRIX.
Les prix suivants sont attribués sur base de répartition des prix pour Hommes Elite 1.HC UCI :

Le total général des prix distribués à l’occasion de l’épreuve est de 18800 Euros. Ces prix seront payés
par la Royal Ligue Vélocipédique Belge, à qui l’organisation a versé le montant total.
ART. 10 - CONTROLE ANTIDOPAGE.
Le règlement antidopage de l’U.C.I. s’applique intégralement à la présente épreuve. En outre, la législation antidopage belge s’applique conformément aux dispositions de loi de la Belgique et suivant la législation antidopage de la région flamande. • Le contrôle antidopage a lieu au Sint-Martinuscollege (niveau
+1), Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse.
ART. 11 - PROTOCOLE.
Conformément à l’article 1.2.112 du règlement U.C.I., les coureurs suivants doivent se présenter au protocole : les trois premiers coureurs classés de l’épreuve. Ils se présenteront dans un délai maximum de 5
minutes après leur arrivée.
ART. 12 - PENALITES.
Le barème de pénalités de l’U.C.I. est le seul applicable.

SERVICE MEDICAL.
Le service médical est dirigé par le Dr. W. Jacobs et sera assuré en course par: 1) immédiatement après
la première voiture officielle R.L.V.B.1, se trouvera une voiture avec le premier Médecin Dr. W. Jacobs;
2) la 2ème voiture, avec le Médecin Dr. J. Van Lierde, suivra immédiatement la voiture R.L.V.B.4; 3) il y
aura 2 ambulances de la “Rode Kruis” Vlaams Brabant qui suivront la course à l’arrière; 4) à l’arrivée, le
service de la “Rode Kruis” Vlaams Brabant assurera les soins nécessaires.
PARKING TEAMS “DEPART”.
Un parking pour les coureurs et leur assistance technique est réservé à la Ladeuzeplein, la Herbert Hooverplein et l’Erasmusplein à Leuven. • Un parking pour les Directeurs Sportifs est réservé dans la cour
de la “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 bus - 3000 Leuven.
VESTIAIRE “DEPART”.
Au départ, un vestiaire, pour les coureurs qui souhaitent s’y changer, est prévu dans la “Sporthal Rijschool”, Rijschoolstraat 21 - 3000 Leuven, uniquement le mardi 12 avril.
RASSEMBLEMENT ET DEPART.
11,15 heures - 12,15 heures : les coureurs signent la feuille de départ au podium-départ (Grote Markt à
Leuven).
11,45 heures : appel des coureurs participants, par équipe.
12,15 heures : formation des voitures des directeurs sportifs suivant le tirage au sort, à la Bondgenotenlaan.
12,30 heures : départ en cortège à hauteur de l’Hôtel de Ville, Grote Markt à Leuven.
12,37 heures : départ volant officiel au panneau 0 KM.
Par ordre de police, toutes les voitures qui suivent la course (suiveurs et presse) se garent avant la ligne
de départ. En application avec les consignes : pour une sécurité accrue des coureurs et pour permettre
aux directeurs sportifs d’effectuer leur travail dans les meilleures conditions, toutes les voitures suiveuses roulent après le peloton sur une rangée, à droite de la route.
RAVITAILLEMENTS.
La zone de ravitaillement se situe à la Terhulpensesteenweg à Overijse : entre les panneaux “début
ravitaillement” & les panneaux “fin ravitaillement”, à la fin du grand circuit et dans chaque circuit local
sauf le dernier.
PASSAGES À NIVEAU.
Sur l’itinéraire de “La Flèche Brabançonne” 2011 ne se trouve aucun passage à niveau.
PANCARTES ET BANDEROLLES.
La banderolle “START” au départ en cortège. Pancartes au km zéro (départ réel), au cinquantième km
et à 20, 3 et 2 km de l’arrivée. La flamme rouge à 1 km de l’arrivée et des pancartes à 500m, 300m, 200m,
150m, 100m et 50m de la ligne d’arrivée. • Sur la ligne d’arrivée se trouve la structure métallique “AANKOMST”. • Pancartes début et fin du ravitaillement. • Aucune banderolle ne sera placée en travers de la
chaussée entre le triangle rouge et la ligne d’arrivée. • A la ligne d’arrivée se trouvera un panneau avec le
nombre de circuits locaux qui restent à parcourir. • Les coureurs doivent effectuer 5 circuits locaux.
ARRIVEE.
Distance: de Leuven jusqu’à Overijse : 136,9 km + 5 circuits locaux de 12,7 km = 200,4 km.
L’arrivée aura lieu sur la Brusselsesteenweg à Overijse.
La déviation des équipes, voitures de presse et suiveurs : au sommet au Schavei, avant les Pompiers, à
gauche par une route de communication vers le Drogenberg.
ABANDONS.
Tout coureur qui abandonne doit remettre son dossard au commissaire, qui se trouve dans une voiture
RLVB.
PERMANENCE “ARRIVEE”.
La permanence “Arrivée”, réservée aux services officiels et aux services de presse, se trouve dans les
bâtiments du Sint-Martinuscollege, Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse, tél. +32-(0)475.26.89.93 & tél.

PARKING TEAMS SOIGNEURS “ARRIVEE”.
Un parking pour les équipes est réservé dans la rue “Drogenberg” (côté en face des maisons)
SUIVEURS.
Tous les suiveurs devront être en possession d’un laissez-passer officiel. Le directeur de course exclut
les personnes et/ou voitures, qui n’ont pas les laissez-passer nécessaires ou qui roulent avec un autre
laissez-passer que celui qui leur a été attribué par l’organisation. • Ni la Direction de course, ni le wsc
Rode Sportief ne peuvent être tenus responsables d’accidents éventuels avant, pendant ou après “La
Flèche Brabançonne”. Le chauffeur d’une voiture suiveuse est toujours seul responsable de ses faits et
gestes.
PARKING PRESSE ET SUIVEURS “ARRIVEE”.
Le Parking à l’avant du Sint-Martinuscollege sera réservé pour la presse. Les voitures des suiveurs et de
l’organisation pourront se garer sur le Parking qui se trouve à côté du terrain de sport du Sint-Martinuscollege. L’entrée de ces parkings se situe par la rue Drogenberg.
VESTIAIRES ET PARKING TEAMS “ARRIVEE”.
Des vestiaires sont prévus pour les coureurs dans le Begijnhofstadion (Tempo Overijse), Begijnhof 3090 Overijse. Les cars et les voitures des équipes peuvent se garer au Begijnhof.
ACCOMPAGNEMENT DU VAINQUEUR.
Après la course, l’Organisation accompagnera le vainqueur tout d’abord à l’interview “live”, puis au
podium pour l’hommage protocolaire et ensuite chez les commentateurs TV pour les interviews. Ensuite,
en compagnie d’un commissaire, il se rendra à la salle de presse (maximum 20 minutes) et au contrôle
antidopage, pour finalement faire une apparition à la réception avec les sponsors présents et les VIP.
ACCORD AVEC LES GROUPES SPORTIFS.
Toute absence d’une équipe sous contrat est punie d’une amende équivalente à celle prévue par la
réglementation U.C.I.
LITIGES.
Seuls les tribunaux belges sont compétents en cas de litige.
REGULATIONS
ART. 1 - ORGANISATION.
The 51th “Brabant Arrow” is organised by “wsc Rode Sportief” (Chemin Courbe, 31 - B-1640
Rhode-Saint-Genèse - Belgium) and is subjected under the regulations of the International
Cycling Union. • It is to be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2011.
ART. 2 - TYPE OF EVENT.
The event is open to athletes of the Men Elite categories and Elite under 23 . The event is
entered on the U.C.I. Europe Tour calendar (Continental calendar) and is registered as a class
1.HC. event. In conformity with the U.C.I. rules, points are awarded as follows for the U.C.I.
Continental Men Elites ranking for one day races : 1) 100 • 2) 70 • 3) 40 • 4) 30 • 5) 25 • 6) 20 • 7)
15 • 8) 10 • 9) 9 • 10) 8 • 11) 7 • 12) 6 • 13) 5 • 14) 4 and 15) 3 points. This race also counts for the
Team ranking and the Country ranking for the Continental Europe Tour.
ART. 3 - PARTICIPATION.
As per article 2.1.005 of the U.C.I. regulations, the event is open to the following teams : U.C.I.
ProTeams (max. 80%), U.C.I. Professional Continental Teams, Belgian U.C.I. Continental
Teams and the Belgian National Team. • As per article 2.2.003 of the U.C.I. regulations, teams
must be formed of minimum 5 and maximum 8 riders.
ART. 4 - RACE HEADQUARTERS.
The race headquarters at the start shall be open starting Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 3:00
till 5:00 pm and Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 10:00 till 11:45 am, at the “Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 bus 101 - 3000 Leuven, phone +32-(0)475-490.129. • Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers at the race
headquarters from 3:00 till 4:45 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2011. • The team managers’ meeting,
organized in accordance with article 1.2.087 of the U.C.I. regulations, in the presence of the
Members of the Commissaires’ Panel, is scheduled for 5:00 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at the
“Bibliotheek Tweebronnen”, Rijschoolstraat 4 bus 101 - 3000 Leuven. • The race headquarter
at the finish shall be open starting Wednesday, April 13, 2011, from 11:00 am and is located at
“Sint-Martinuscollege”, Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse.
ART. 5 - RADIO TOUR.
Race information will be broadcast on “Radio Tour” frequency 164.510 MHz, provided by the
R.L.V.B.
ART. 6 - NEUTRAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
The technical support service is handled by Libema Service Support. The neutral support is
taken care of by means of 3 cars and 1 motorbike.
ART. 7 - FINISHING TIME LIMITS.
Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 5% shall not be classified. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be increased by the Commissaires’
Panel in agreement with the organizer.
ART. 8 - CLASSIFICATIONS - TIME BONUSES.
The following classification will be issued : the individual classification following the order of
crossing the finishing line at the end of the last local tour. The classification shall determine
the allocation of prizes and points. There are no other classifications or time bonuses available.
ART. 9 - PRIX.

by la Royal Ligue Vélocipédique Belge. Therefore our organisation had paid the total price
money to the R.L.V.B.
ART. 10 - ANTIDOPING.
The U.C.I. antidoping regulations are entirely applicable to the event. Moreover, and in conformity with the law of Belgium, the belgian antidoping legislation is applicable in addition
to the U.C.I. antidoping regulations, as also the antidoping legislation of the Flemish region.
• The anti-doping tests will take place at the “Sint-Martinuscollege” (level +1), Brusselsesteenweg 147 - 3090 Overijse.
ART. 11 - AWARDS CEREMONY.
In accordance with article 1.2.112 of the U.C.I. rules, the following riders must attend the official awards ceremony: the first three riders of the event. • The riders will present themselves at
the podium in a time limit of maximum 5 minutes after crossing the finish line.
ART. 12 - PENALTIES.
The U.C.I. penalty scale is the only one applicable.

MEDICAL CARE.
Dr. W. Jacobs is leading the medical service. During the race, the following medical services
are available:
1) immediately behind the first official K.B.W.B. car follows the car with the first doctor in the race Dr. W. Jacobs; 2) the car, with doctor Dr. J. Van Lierde, follows the fourth car of the K.B.W.B.; 3) two
ambulances of the “Red Cross” Vlaams-Brabant follow the race at the back; 4) at the finish, the
“Red Cross” Vlaams-Brabant is present in the aid post to help with a first-aid assistance.
PARKING TEAMS “START”.
There is a special parking lot for the riders and their technical assistance at the Ladeuzeplein,

CHANGING ROOMS “START”.
At the start, the riders who want to change themselves can do this at the “Sporthal Rijschool”,
Rijschoolstraat 21 - 3000 Leuven.
ASSEMBLY AND DEPARTURE.
11:15 - 12:15 am : signature of the departure check-in on the podium “start” (Grote Markt in Leuven).
11:45 am : calling of the competitors, by team.
12:15 : positioning of the cars of the team managers following the drawing, at the Bondgenotenlaan.
12:30 : procession start before the Town Hall, Grote Markt in Leuven.
12:37 : official start at the 0 KM mark.
The police orders all cars which will precede the race to park in front of the starting line. To guarantee maximum security to the racers and to enable the team managers to do their jobs properly,
all the followers’ cars must form a single line on the right side of the road and after the racers.
SUPPLIES.
The supplies are situated on the Terhulpensesteenweg (Overijse) : between boards indicating
the start and boards indicating the end of the supply area) and operate at the end of the large
lap and in each local lap except the last lap.
RAILWAY CROSSINGS.
There are no railway crossings on the route of “The Brabant Arrow” 2011.
SIGNS AND BANNERS.
“START” banner at the departure in procession. Markers at 0 km (the real start), after 50 km,
and at 20, 3 and 2 km from the finish line. The red flame at 1km from the finish and markers at
500m, 300m, 200m, 150m, 100m and 50m from the finish. • Over the finish there is a metallic
structure that reads “AANKOMST”. • There are signs at the supply area. • There will be no
banners over the road between the red flame and the finish. • At the finish there will be a board
indicating how many local laps remain. • 5 local laps will be completed by the competitors.
FINISH.
Distance: from Leuven to Overijse : 136,9 km + 5 local laps of 12,7 km = 200,4 km. The finish
will be judged at the Brusselsesteenweg at Overijse.
Derivation of the teams, press and followers : at the top of the Schavei, before the fire department, at the left through a connecting road to the Drogenberg.
WITHDRAWALS.
Any competitor who withdraws must hand in his number to the Commissaire in the sweeping car.

The race headquarter “Finish” at Overijse, reserved for the Officials and the Press, is located

PARKING TEAMS WELFAREMEN “FINISH”.
There is a special parking lot for the teams at the street “Drogenberg” (opposite site of the houses).
FOLLOWERS.
All followers must be in possession of an official pass. The Race Director will exclude person(s)
and/or car(s), which have not the required pass or in possession of other pass not delivered by the
organisation, or, putting the security of the race in danger. • Neither the Race Direction nor the
Organization “wsc Rode Sportief” may be taken responsible for accidents before, during and after
“The Brabant Arrow”. The driver of a follower car is always responsible for his/her own behaviour.
PARKING PRESS AND FOLLOWERS “FINISH”.
There is a special parking lot for the press at the foreside of the “Sint-Martinuscollege”. The
organization and the followers can park their car at the park place next to the sportsfield of the
“Sint-Martinuscollege”. Entry of both parking lots by the Drogenberg.
CHANGING ROOMS AND PARKING TEAMS “FINISH”.
Changing rooms are provided for the riders at the Begijnhofstadion (Tempo Overijse), Begijnhof - 3090 Overijse. The busses and cars of the teams can park on the Begijnhof.
ACCOMPANIMENT OF THE WINNER.
After the race the winner is accompanied by the Organisation to go first to the “live” interview,
then to the podium for the honours ceremony. Next, they go to the TV-interview. After this, the
winner (with accompaniment of a commissaire) has to go to the pressroom (maximum 20 minutes) and to the anti-doping tests. Finally the winner must spend some time at the reception.
ABSENCE AGREEMENT.
Any team under contract who is absent will be fined according to U.C.I. regulations.
DISPUTES.
Only the Belgian jurisdiction applies in the case of a dispute.
