VENTS using Activated Carbon EVA - EVB Treatment by filtration using Activated Carbon Filtration of air over absorbent materials such as Activated Carbon is particularly efficient for treating confined and closed structures with low volumes. └ Dynamic VENT, EVB ┘ Two VENT models using Activated Carbon are available: - Static VENTS, called EVA (without a ventilator) - Dynamic VENTS, called EVB (with a ventilator) This type of process is adapted for effluent treatment plants (closed aeration stations, sludge silos, buffer basins…), chemical industry, oil-cracking industry, food-processing industry and pharmaceutical industry. └ Static VENT, EVA ┘ The Activated Carbon using an absorption process is capable, with its micro-porous structure, of trapping the VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) type molecules or corrosive and odorous molecules (NH3, H2S, etc.). The absorbent used depends on the compound to be treated. In this way basic Activated Carbon is used for VOCs and an impregnated Activated Carbon is used for removing bad odours. Using this method, the effluent to be treated is introduced under the Activated Carbon. The air goes through the adsorbent mass in a uniform way due to the use of a grating with calibrated openings depending on the flow rate. Purified, the air is then evacuated directly into the atmosphere. When the Activated Carbon becomes saturated, it is removed and can then be retreated. EVA Our maintenance service can provide complete maintenance packages for VENTS including: - Removal of the used Activated Carbon and retreating it. - Supply of Carbon. Gas outlet replacement Activated - Refilling the VENT.
