M/Y Lady Petra is an eye catching motor yacht of today’s generation. She is indeed a thoroughbred of
the full-displacement era, built by the famous Heesen Shipyard and widely regarded as a rare
challenge not only for architects but designers intent upon creating elegance, comfort and quality, by
bringing the epitome of the Heesen Yacht to life for the founder.
Featuring a bulbous bow and an optimized hull profile, she effortlessly glides through the water,
requiring less power and subsequently a lower fuel consumption to reach a cruising speed of 14
knots, thus offering a transatlantic range of 4,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. Furthermore, she boasts
one of the largest deck and interior volumes, comprising of some 240sqm over three decks, while
remaining under 500 Gross Tons.
Designed by Omega Architects for varied family use and entertainment, she features various
interchangeable deck configurations, alfresco dining areas, together with a giant Jacuzzi and wet
granite bar plus multiple all-weather sofas under awnings on the sun deck.
The interior was designed and styled by Bannenberg & Rowell whereby using full-height holepunched stainless steel plates, curved wedge and inlaid stainless steel panels together with brushed
spruce and bleached elm panelling line it creates a modern yet contemporary feel throughout. All
surfaces match up precisely with thin ribbons of tan and white leather that move across the interior at
sharp but perfectly parallel angles creating space and warmth.

The guest accommodates comprises of six well-appointed guest suites located throughout the TriDeck design, all benefiting from the creativeness of a soft and sumptuous décor and natural light.
With a V.I.P suite on the main deck, plus two double staterooms and two twin staterooms with
additional Pullmans berths and a vast owners suite, M/Y Lady Petra is capable of accommodating the
largest of families with ease. Alternatively there is a formidable cinema and media room, plus a main
salon and expansive dining room suitable for up to 10 guests.
Panoramic views can be enjoyed from the vast luxurious master suite or adjoining private terrace
which occupies a majority of the aft bridge deck and benefits from various sumptuous seating
arrangements. Aside from a king size bed facing aft, the stateroom benefits from an oversized walk-in
wardrobe, his & hers marble bathroom, steam shower featuring opaque back lighting, plus a secluded
and elegant breakfast room.
Integrated into the exterior superstructure is a custom built fully-automatic lift, enabling guests with
disabilities to gain access outside from the aft main deck to the sun deck. Alternatively an electric stair
climbing chair is featured internally (from aft bridge deck to main deck) and all corridors and door
frames are extra wide, making her wheelchair friendly.
The tender garage accommodates a 6.50 meter Custom Line Novurania (featuring a folding console
due to the height restriction of 140 centimetres) plus a three person Yamaha jet ski, all of which can
be launched within three minutes. Also located in the garage is an assortment of inflatable toys and
dive compressor featuring a full complement of dive equipment. Once cleared the tender garage and
transom door can be transformed into a beach club for the family or a safe bathing platform for
children of all ages to play within.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
All hydraulics apart from the davit on the bow run on hydraulic oil supplied from a central closed loop
reservoir in the engine room, this reservoir has an integrated oil cooling system.
There are two Rotor 22Kw electric motors that supply oil to the stabilisers.
There is one Rotor 7.5Kw electric motor that supplies oil to the Hydraulic auxiliaries, stern door, side
boarding ladder, aft boarding ladder, & hydraulic winches.
There are two PTO’s One off each main engine gearbox they run the 90Kw bow thruster.
The davit on the bow is for the emergency tender (ZODIAC) and is completely stand alone, running off
