Il est important de prendre en considération que le festival Art Souterrain n'est ni un musée, ni une
galerie. Il est impossible, pour les organisateurs, de modifier certaines conditions d'exposition (ex:
éclairage). Aussi, les lieux d'exposition doivent être restitués dans leur état initial à la fin de
l'évènement.
It is important to take into consideration that the Art Souterrain festival is neither a museum nor a
gallery. It is impossible for the organizers to modify certain conditions of exhibition (ex: lighting). In
addition, the exhibition locations must be restored to their original states at the end of the event.

Art Souterrain does not recommend the use of
security tapes between the works and the public
as it instills a “distance” in relation to the work.

DÉROULEMENT DU FESTIVAL
UNFOLDING OF THE FESTIVAL
Le festival Art Souterrain se déroule en 2 volets.
The Art Souterrain festival unfolds in 2 streams.
1) Nuit Blanche, le 28 février 2015, de 18h à 2h
Lancement du festival et nuit de très grande affluence. Présence de l'artiste ou d'un
ambassadeur requise pour un minimum de 2 heures et présence d'un à deux médiateurs
culturels bénévoles qui auront comme mission d'éclairer le grand public au sujet de l'oeuvre.
Nuit Blanche, the 28th of February 2015, from 6pm to 2am.
Launching of the festival and very illustrious night. Presence of the artist or an ambassador required
for a minimum of 2 hours and presence of 2 volunteering cultural mediators who will have the mission
of enlightening the artwork to the greater public.
2) 15 jours d'exposition du 18 février au 15 mars 2015
- Un audioguide et une application iPhone seront disponibles pour le public et des visites
guidées quotidiennes seront organisées.
- De nombreuses activités seront organisées dans les différents édifices du parcours chaque
fin de semaine. Les artistes sont réinvités à venir présenter leur travail et à interagir avec le
public.
15 days of exhibition from February 18th to March 15th, 2015.
- An Audioguide and iPhone application will be available for the public and daily guided tours
will be organized.
- Numerous activities will be organized in the different buildings of the circuit each weekend.
The artists are once again invited to come present their works and engage with the public.

** Si votre oeuvre n'est pas encore construite, vous pouvez remplacer les visuels du projet par des cartes,
plans ou esquisses. Assurez-vous que le projet soit expliqué le plus clairement possible afin d'être bien
compris par le comité de sélection.

Make sure to explain the project with as much details as possible so that it may be clearly understood by the
