on pagaie sur les eaux capricieuses de la Canche et de l’Authie ; s’y ajoutent la Ternoise, la Planquette, la
Créquoise, l’Embryenne et le Bras de Brosne se disputant les faveurs des pêcheurs.
Ici, on prend le temps de bien vivre : les ébénistes s’attèlent à la tâche laissant échapper ça et là des odeurs de
sciure ; les places de villages s’animent autour des marchés, au rythme des concerts ; là, on tire le lait du pis des
brebis, des chèvres et des vaches pour en faire de savoureux fromages. Au potager, le jardinier s’échappe un
instant de son labeur et regarde passer les randonneurs…
Ici, la beauté des lieux rend gourmand : que ce soit des plaisirs simples et plus raffinés, il faut déguster ces saveurs
et ces goûts authentiques de terroir que savent si bien mettre en avant les producteurs et les restaurateurs.

Welcome to the Seven Valleys Ternois area, a landscape of rivers, hedgerows, sunken lanes, woods and forests… Canoeing
on the whimsical waters of the river Canche is a popular activity; add to it the Authie, Ternoise, Planquette, Créquoise,
Embryenne and Bras de Brosne rivers competing to attract anglers...
Here we take the time to live well: cabinetmakers are hard at work, every now and then releasing whiffs of sawdust; village
squares come alive around markets, dancing to the rhythm of concerts; elsewhere ewes, goats and cows are being milked to
produce delicious cheeses. In the kitchen garden, the gardener briefly abandons his work to watch hikers walking by…
Here, you develop a taste for good food from looking at so much beauty: from simple to more refined pleasures, you must
sample those authentically local flavours and delights which producers and chefs are so skilled at bringing to the fore.
