CHOIR
The organ at Third Baptist Church was originally
built by the Kilgen Organ Company in 1930. It
was renovated and expanded by the Möller firm in
1949 to become a four-manual instrument with 59
ranks of pipes. The organ has been re-designed
by Reuter engineers and the tonal resources
expanded to 70 ranks. All new mechanical
components were provided, including framing,
winding and windchests. A complete on-site tonal
regulation has restored the original grandeur of
this monumental instrument.
