CÔR MEIBION CAERNARFON LA CHORALE MASCULINE DE

Our repertoire is varied and popular. We sing in
many languages, but mainly in Welsh and English.
Our Patron is the world famous bass baritone, Bryn
Terfel.
The Choir’s Musical Director is Mrs Delyth
Humphreys B. Mus., Head of Music at Ysgol
Eifionydd, Porthmadog. Our accompanist is Mrs
Mona Meirion Richards LRAM - former Head of
Music at Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen, Caernarfon.
The members come from a variety of occupations,
including teachers, policemen, mechanics, lawyers,
doctors, farmers and retired people.
Notre répertoire est varié et populaire, et nous
sommes parrainés par Bryn Terfel, le chanteur
bass-baritone qui est connu au monde entier.
Les membres de la chorale ont des occupations
diverses; il y a des enseignants, des policiers, des
mécaniciens, des avocats, des médecins, des
agriculteurs et des retraités.
La direction musicale appartient à Mme Delyth
Humphreys, et Mme Mona Meirion Richards est notre
accompagnitrice.
Les répétitions ont lieu tous les mardis soir à 19h45 à
Galeri Caernarfon (sauf en mois d’août). Les visiteurs
sont toujours les bienvenus.

evening, except in August, starting at 7.45pm.
Visitors enjoy our rehearsals and are always

Since the choir was formed in 1967, we have won
first prize in the National Eisteddfod of Wales nine
times. We have travelled widely in the UK, Ireland,
mainland Europe and North America.
Fondée en 1967, la chorale a voyagé l’Europe et
l’Amérique au cours de nombreuses tournées.

meilleures chorales du Pays de Galles: nous avons
gagné le premier prix à l’Eisteddfod national (festival
de concours musicaux et littéraires) neuf fois!
Mona Meirion Richards
Caernarfon Male Voice Choir is one of Wales’ most
successful choirs. We have performed in the best
concert halls in Britain, including the Royal Albert
Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and St David’s
Hall Cardiff.
