Pour la semaine n°14 allant du 2 au 8 avril 2007, le
réseau SENTINELLES a observé la situation
suivante :
VARICELLE
Activité modérée
L'incidence nationale hebdomadaire de la varicelle a
été de 31 cas pour 100 000 habitants, au-dessus du
seuil épidémique (30 cas pour 100 000 habitants), avec
des foyers d’activité intense en région Alsace (91 cas
pour 100 000 habitants), Aquitaine (69), Limousin
(69), Midi-Pyrénées (68), Picardie (68) et Corse (60),
et d’activité modérée en Rhône-Alpes (42) et NordPas-de-Calais (33).

GASTRO-ENTERITE
Activité modérée
L’incidence nationale de la diarrhée aiguë a été de 158
cas pour 100 000 habitants, en dessous du seuil
épidémique (176 cas pour 100 000 habitants).

Incidence nationale (en cas pour 100 000 habitants) -en bleu-, avec le seuil épidémique
(méthode dite du "serpent de Serfling”) -en rouge-. Le seuil est obtenu par un modèle de
régression périodique appliquée aux observations passées.
GRIPPE CLINIQUE
Activité faible
L'incidence nationale hebdomadaire de la grippe
clinique a été de 37 cas pour 100 000 habitants, en
dessous du seuil épidémique (103 cas pour 100 000
habitants).

Le réseau SENTINELLES comprend 1264 médecins en activité. Parmi eux, 273 participent à l’activité de surveillance
continue permettant la rédaction des bulletins hebdomadaires.
Le réseau SENTINELLES , créé par A-J. Valleron en 1984, est développé à l'Inserm-UPMC UMR-S 707
(Dir. Guy Thomas) dans le cadre de conventions associant l’Institut de Veille Sanitaire,
le Réseau Sentinelle et d’Etudes Epidémiologiques (RESEEPI )
et le réseau I Sentinelli in Tramice (Bioscope-Corse-Méditerranée).
